Khushi never thought she would meet her step sister like this and in such circumstances. She had never bothered to research about Shashi Gupta’s family before because she thought it was better she is away from their identities. But destiny doesn’t work that way. It always makes you walk the path you never thought of going through.



“Adira is crazy spoilt child of Shashi Gupta. She has always been so rough and rebellious type” Arnav continues to explain.

“How does Adira know you?” Khushi interrupts him. Arnav silences. “I don’t think you and my father ever shared a cordial professional or personal relationship. So, how does Adira know so much about us?”

“She has always been like this” he mutters.

“How do you know that Arnav?” Khushi snaps. “Did you date her before? Is she one of your Ex?”



“No” he growls back. “For Christ sake, she is hardly 21. Why would I date such a small and immature girl?”



Khushi cannot believe how much relieved she feels knowing he never dated Adira. At least half of her tension is sorted for now. But something still doesn’t click. She has to get more details about his connection with that girl to frame the entire picture together.
