I don't know where to begin this.. But the first time I saw this guy on television, in July 2011, his ASR attitude picked up my attention and ever since then there was no turning back in loving all the Characters he has played so far. I joined all his fan clubs on the social media just to keep getting updates of whatever he does. And even if not the first day first show, I have managed to watch all his movies. He weaves magic in every role he plays.
I have never seen any actor so humble and down to earth like him. I wish him all the luck, joy, success, love, happy family, prosperity and loads and loadzzz of Fan following.

ReplyDeleteHis life is cursed I feel. God gave him everything, but one thing Mr Sobti lacked is commitment and consistency in his profession. Look how amazing work is Aayushmaan Khurana is doing. I know comparing is wrong but Mr Sobti needs good scripts. He is a fading actor now. He has fan base but he only disappoints only. You are a real fan Madhu. To be honest I used to think he would make big like Mr Hrithik Roshan baring dancing skills.I am Hrithik Roshan fan by the way.
ReplyDeleteWe all expected him to do big in his career when he left Ippknd. But he couldn't. He neither made it big in Bollywood nor got the mighty role like ASR on TV again! I think he takes decision from his heart which might not be practical in the current situation. Out of all his other work I loved Only one movie Tu hai mera sunday! But it didn't got the needed response! I really hope he gets what he truly deserve! He is a great actor and deserves great things!
DeleteI really feel sorry for him. He would have made big in his career. Now the chances are nill. He is looking so terrible. He was such a moon faced man. What happened to him he is aging real bad. A promising career gone down drains. Madhu you are a amazing writer. I would love read some of your stories not involving T.V. artist and shows.

ReplyDeleteMy loyalty lies towards the show Ippknd and am die hard arshi fan! I have never been fan of Barun but I admire him for playing ASR and we couldn't have gotten a better actor to do it! I still remember the days when Barun decided to quit the show I was unaffected but when makers decided to kill the Arnav's character I was so angry with them. I hated Barun for doing that to the show. I still feel Ippknd deserved a great ending! But it's a past now! Neither are the chances that Ippknd will ever come again on screen with the original cast. I have given up that hopes!

His career is doomed already that's the fact. He acts like ASR in his other shows also. Not a method actor. Gurmeet Chaudhry I believe is more versatile actor.He also can't make his mark in Bollywood. After SRK only Sushant Singh Rajput make it big transition from T.V.to Bollywood.
