Khushi’s POV


I am curious what’s keeping Arnav so glued to his phone that he doesn't even realize I am in the room. I tinkle my bangles on purpose but he is so engrossed in swiping on his phone that it annoys me. I tiptoe to him and curl my arms around his neck from behind to cuddle him. He stops swiping the images on his phone and turns sideways to place a kiss on my hand.

“What’s keeping you so busy?” I ask then turn to his phone screen where I see some weird pictures of mannequins, some broken and a few so damaged that their faces are scared.

“Scary, isn’t it?” he asks, pulling me at front.

I quickly sit next to him on the couch.

“Very. What are these?”

“I don’t know.. these were found in the basement room..”

My heart skips a beat.

“Basement room? You mean the one which was locked?”

“Yes” he sighs rubbing his fingers across his jaw “That very room has these weird stuff and no one knew it..”


I am speechless.

“I asked the Engineers to click the pics and send me when they told me about it.”

“Wait..” I snap. “The Engineers opened that door?”

“Hmm. I ask them to break the locks. Nothing in the electric wiring seemed to have a problem in any room. This one was the last one they had to check. And guess what? They found that this room never had a wiring done. Means it was always in dark… No electricity connection inside this at all.”

Note: I am very sorry for not being able to post much this week. Some emergency friends so have to take care of that. Please don't mind. I'll post the next update on Bride of Sheesh Mahal Season 3 on 28th Feb (Monday)
