Precap for My New Boss - Season 3 - Part 36

Khushi’s POV

I can’t believe Arnav agreed to sleep on the couch and let me occupy the bed alone. Though he did put up a fair effort to convince me we can sleep together having a physical boundary in between us using the pillows but he didn’t drag it when I showed no interest in agreeing to his demand. That’s the quality of a gentleman in him which I’m hopelessly falling for. It is so strange that I am falling for this man after I became his girlfriend. It’s usually the other way round. People fall in love and then commit to each other. We are really unique.

Though there’s decent light in the room and the bed is cozy enough, I don’t get sleep and I know why? I haven’t taken my eyes off Arnav ever since he is resting on the couch. I don’t realize how long I have been admiring his sleeping form. He has covered himself with the extra comforter and though the one on me is double the thickness than his, I still shiver. The only source of my warmth is on the couch. How can I get solace anywhere else other than his arms? So, without thinking much, I tiptoe to the couch and raising his comforter from one side, I gently lay beside him in that little space, squeezing myself to his body, pulling his arm over my waist so that he spoons me from behind. The immediate next second, Arnav kisses my earlobe, drawing me closer to him. He’s awake? I thought he was in deep sleep and wouldn’t notice my actions until morning.

 

“I was just thinking when you would join me here..” he whispers in my hair and drops another kiss there. “What are you doing in my arms, Khushi Gupta?”

“Drawing my comfort..” I mumble, holding my blush though I know he can sense how mortified I am to self-initiate the agenda of sleeping so cozily with him.
