Arnav’s POV
I stare at the clock. It’s midnight 1:00 and Khushi is still not back. I know events like this will demand more of her time and presence. Though I am not very comfortable with it, at this moment I have no choice. I pace in the living room then make my way back to the balcony to see if I can see her coming back. I have been doing the same from past two hours but this time I finally see her. Khushi gets down from the car and another man gets down with her. He is around her age. I can’t see them clearly from here but they stand there outside the car, and speak for some time. Who is he? My jealousy is already at its peak and is bursts out when I see him patting Khushi’s cheek as if assuring her something. My fingers fists to punch that guy. Khushi nods at him and then returns inside the building whereas he drives away.
In a few minutes I hear the door knob and Khushi steps inside. She is not drunk, at least not over her limits. The moment she sees me, and realizes I have been waiting for her to return, she looks a bit surprised but then ignores me completely, making her way to the bedroom.
“Who was he?” I snap.
She doesn't stop nor responds. So, this time, I follow her and before she can enter her bedroom, I grab her wrist and turn her around.
“I asked you something.”
“I am not answerable to you,” she retorts.
“But I am still keen to know why did he touch you.”
Khushi finally has my attention. But she still doesn't give me the kind of reply I am expecting out of her.
“Keep your jealousy in your goddamn pockets, Arnav Singh Raizada.”
She is about to leave back to her room when this time, I slide my arms around her waist and haul her to my body. I am not being rough or forceful. In fact, the way I am holding her right now, and looking in her eyes, anyone could tell I am hurt and concerned. With the kind of relationship me and Khushi have at this moment, with all the hatred that I showered upon her once and with all the ignorance and anger she is throwing on me, I fear it wouldn’t take much time for me to lose her completely to some other man. That fear is on my face and I this is the first time I am openly expressing it to her. She is about to lash at me for my behavior but before she can do that, I say it out.
“Don’t leave me for someone else.”
Khushi opens her mouth to shout back but then she goes quiet by my words. Probably, she too hadn’t expected me to say this.
“Hate me as much as you want, Khushi, but don’t leave me.”
Note: Just a precap tonight.

Vansh Kapoor
My best friend, Taani, assigned me the responsibility to help her find a suitable groom for her sister, Vidhi. I would have gladly done so if Vidhi hadn’t been my runaway bride, who didn't even acknowledge our marriage bond for 24 hours before fleeing from my life. Now she is right under my nose, letting her sister hunt marriage alliances for her, and the worst part is, I can’t even claim her as rightfully mine.
Vidhi Gupta
Vansh Kapoor, the man I ran away from five years ago on our first night after marriage, was a childhood friend of my elder sister who was now looking for prospective grooms for me. Vansh was dragged into this responsibility as Taani trusted him more than anyone else in the world. I may have had a reason to marry him in the past, but I’d no excuses to hold on to that relationship anymore. Especially not when I knew the selfish reason why he had married me in the first place.
Some Marriages are made in Heaven.
Some Marriages are meant to be Hidden.
Never thought I would meet you again out of the Blue.
With my heart begging to spend the rest of my life with You.
A Standalone Contemporary Hidden Marriage Romance
Is it necessary for Arnav KHUSHI to end up together?
ReplyDeleteArnav once had selflessly loved Khushi, but Khushi used his love for her momentary pleasure....
When Khushi harshly rejected him and probably her father did something very terrible (which is yet to be revealed) , Arnav thought to seek revenge... but one consummation(spur of the moment) brought out the lover Arnav and made him discard the revenge plot.....
Khushi's single and strict parenting taught her to do things that only benefited her...she didn't have any feelings for Arnav but acted to like him (even allowed him to touch her intimately)...
she's even ready to marry a faceless NRI just to peruse her career!
Arnav forcefully married her and both shared hate-hate relationship... suddenly one loose moment made them desire each other....
Post consummation Arnav declared having no feeling for Khushi (but confesses to himself won't able to continue the revenge game)
Khushi expected their relationship dynamic would change post consummation, when nothing that sort of happened and as she got a chance she's again back to achieving her goals....she no longer needed Arnav...
Is Arnav sure of his feelings?
What if Khushi hurt his mother again, will he be back to revenging again?
Even if Arnav feelings for Khushi are genuine now too, why force Khushi to stay with him?
It would be wrong to keep Khushi tied to this relationship since Khushi doesn't seem to have any desire to continue it!
Consummation doesn't mean Khushi started liking Arnav!
Yes we all want Arshi together forever!
But this situation is something different!
I know Madhu you would do justice to the ff, but put forwarded my thoughts too, please don't mind!
At this point of the story I will still keep saying they don't deserve each other. Arnav has to be vocal about his feelings for her. He is one secretive man who is not ready to open up even to her. It will take some more time for him to do so as thats what makes him flawed. He has made mistakes... sins too... and slowly that redemption will come up... Regarding Khushi, she is unaware of most of the things why Arnav played with her in the name of revenge. She made one wrong move 6 years back but now she is working on it, accepting her faults and moving on. Consummation definitely isn't the point of their return to each other. But its one step which has made them think differently for each other, zoning out all the other hinderances, hatred and other stuff happening in their lives. Neither Arnav will be spared nor khushi will be weakly giving up her strength now. Their love will bloom but with time.. I'll do my best to make sure their happy end is still justified. Everyone deserves a second chance and I want them to give that to each other. Not at this point of the story but in the future. Thats my Point of view. Everyone here is free to put their opinions. I don't mind. :)
DeleteExactly. I have said already that arnav is doing wrong to himself by not opening up. His now the biggest problem is his secrecy. He wouldn't be on a big hot seat if he had been vocal and expressive. Just like how khushi had confessed, admitted, accepted and mended her wrongings which had inreturn made her deserving of 2nd chance, arnav needs to do that too, simple.
DeleteThank you Madhu for the reply.. love love love love love to you 😘❤️
DeleteWhat a wonderful reply Madhu. I love the thought behind the story
DeleteAwesome Precap. Arnav is worried for Khushi and is jealous seeing her with another man. Khushi is completely ignoring Arnav and back answered too. Khushi's attitude is amazing. Arnav's possessiveness is out in the open for Khushi and he is hurt seeing someone else with Khushi. He loves her a lot though he has hurt her after their intimacy. The way he said don't leave me proves it. I know Arnav has done mistakes he hurt Khushi a lot. But this time he is broken. But still I don't want Khushi to give in to Arnav so soon. Arnav must realize his mistakes. He did really wrong by rejecting his feelings for Khushi. Waiting for Khushi's answer.
ReplyDeleteThe way Arnav said don't leave me can melt anyone. Both Arshi have fault in this story. Only thing is Arnav is quite mature when he hurt Khushi and Khushi was young and childish didn't realise what love is so hurt Arnav. Ultimately Khushi will decide whether to be in the relationship or not. Their relationship is truly tragic.
ReplyDeleteBoth need to open up about each other feeling.
ReplyDeleteArnav took the icing on the cake by his monolog and thoughts. This is how a mature, sensible, educated and sophisticated person thinks. Thats how a man should behave.
ReplyDeletePossessiveness is ok, infact i love it. But the difference between possessiveness and dominance should be clear and maintained. Harshness, roughness, manhandling and violence can be covered under possessiveness or jealousy, they are dominance or obsession.
I loved arnav's stand here.
There is nothing wrong in hating a person at the the same time loving them. Arnav has his own reasons to make himself believe that he hates Khushi but at the same time he realized that he cannot live without her. Khushi thinks she has been dragged into this mess even thought she knows that her fault is not the extent where someone will avenge her. In all the scenario I am scared is what will happen when Arnav's Mom regains her memory ?
ReplyDeleteWow.. possessive Arnav is always a treat to watch.. especially when the possessiveness is with a deep fear of losing someone you love .. both Arshi have had their share of mistakes.. they both are flawed but I'm sure they deserve to be together.. I understand somethings that happened in the past made them react with such revenge and anger but I'm sure it was because they had a connection previously which was too strong that it never left their minds and caused them to make mistakes knowingly or unknowingly..
ReplyDeleteNow that they will realise their mistakes they should be getting a second chance but only if they both feel for each other not otherwise.
