Khushi’s POV
“Ys, Anjali is coming tomorrow and I am so glad to know that. I’ve missed her,” Shyam says to Arnav as they both speak, sitting on the couch.
Shyam comes home to check on Arnav’s mother twice every week and according to him, he is doing superb ever since we moved her here in this penthouse with me. Now that Arnav is here, Maa is too happy to get to live with both of us. I know secretly she is hoping we start living in the same bedroom but that’s never going to happen.
“But she is angry on me.” Shyam’s voice breaks my trance. I was just back home from my shoot when I saw Shyam here and even though Arnav was here to host his brother-in-law, I couldn’t skip meeting and spending some time with the two either.
“I know,” Arnav’s glances at me. “Di is upset but when she will see Maa happy and progressing so well, she wouldn’t mind with whatever decisions you took for Maa in our absence.”
I don’t want to be a part of this conversation anymore so I get up from the couch.
“I’ll make you some coffee,” I say to Shyam who nods happily.
“One black coffee for me too,” Arnav mentions before I turn away. My eyes bore into his. “If you don’t mind, please.”
Please? Did he really say please to me? We both keep staring at each other for no idea how long when Shyam coughs on purpose to divert us.
Note: Only precap tonight.

Sameer Khanna
I had no intention to marry till I met Tanisha Gupta. More than her gorgeous chocolate brown eyes, her petite curves and sassy attitude, her accomplishments as the current CEO of Gupta Industries, and her commitment and dedication to expanding her company allured me. Though I admired her love and sense of responsibility towards her half-sister for whom my marriage alliance was proposed, Taani, was all I had in mind, she was the only one I wanted.
Tanisha Gupta
I was looking for potential grooms for my younger sister when I met Sameer Khanna. More than his smart, charming personality and his oh so sexy French beard, Sameer’s eagerness to bring out my true self, the woman I used to be when my father was alive, drew me towards him. Much as I tried to resist him, my heart finally crossed the line it shouldn't have.
But were the sparks of attraction, compatibility, and respect that we felt for each other enough to sustain the Love that happened by chance between us?
A slow burn arranged marriage Contemporary Romance.
Note: Though the book can be read as a standalone, you can also read my book "Mr and Mrs Kapoor" to know more about these lead characters.
Cant waitt
ReplyDeleteKhushi is staying strong by not letting Arnav get close to her after he had hurt her. Arnav is trying his best to woo Khushi. Anjali will realize how much Khushi has changed and will eventually accept her. Hopefully Khushi will give a chance to Arnav . Both Arshi love each other so much. Arnav must reveal what Shashi Gupta did. Nice Precap๐
ReplyDeleteInteresting

ReplyDeleteGod now this Anjali shouldn't create unnecessary drama for Khushi.. the last time she came she turned their lives upside down.. I wonder if she takes her mom with her and Shyam what will Arnav do?
ReplyDeleteReally hope to see if that happens how will Arnav convinced Khushi to let him live with her when his mom isn't around ๐๐ cause Khushi won't let him 1 second around if the mom's not there
ROFL.. so rightly said. Khushi wouldn't let Arnav around her for even one second if his mother is not around.
DeleteHaha so does this mean Anjali will take her mom with her? Really hope that happens so that we get to see how Arnav stays around.. lmao fingers crossed
DeleteDid Khushi ever love Arnav? I want to know.
DeleteKhushi also fault what happened her life. then what about khushi's punishment?
