Khushi's POV
“Khushi wait,” Sheetal calls me from behind. I don’t turn around nor I wait to hear her out. Arnav gives me a glance as I clutch his arm tight before continuing to walk towards the exit. He knows I am disinterested in speaking to Sheetal. I came here for her mother, not the woman who betrayed my friendship.
The moment we reach the door, Sheetal blocks my way out.
“Just listen to me once. Please.” She pleads.
“I don’t know you,” I snap. “Just leave my way.”
“Khushi, I am sorry,” she sobs blocking my way again as I try to reach for the door.
I cling to Arnav’s arm again not even wanting to look at her.
“I did this only to get my father back to me and my mother, Khushi. I’d no other intention. I failed to realize he was never interested in any one of us. All he desired was power and money which he got by staying as your guardian all these years.”
Sheetal wipes her tears.
“But now me and my mother have nothing to do with him. That man doesn’t exist to us anymore, Khushi. Life has already taught us the lesson.”
She joins her palms.
“Please forgive me if you can. I am really sorry for keeping you in the dark all these years about we being step sisters and not being there for you when you needed your friend the most..”
I glance at Arnav once who is bothered of my state and reactions towards Sheetal’s apology. I know he wouldn’t take a second to dismiss Sheetal from our way and lead me out, so that I don’t stress further but I want to end this chapter between me and Sheetal myself. So, I turn to Sheetal again.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON MY BOOKS

Once again Amazon Content Review team has permanently terminated my Kindle publishing account. Currently only my paperbacks are available for purchase on Amazon and all my eBooks are removed. They gave 'wrong keyword/categories issue' for my latest Book - 'I Found Love' which is impossible considering this time I have double ensured that this book or the rest of my 24 titles DO NOT appear in any wrong categories. I have all proofs of the KDP support team as well where I have mailed them to keep my books in the basic 2-3 romance categories only and take out all others. And they had done so a few weeks ago for all my books.
Yet, every week one or the other book or my entire account is targeted since June 2022. There are other authors too in our circle who has faced this but no one has been in the loop this frequent. Even when my account was permanently terminated last month, a lot many authors and readers suspected that my account is sabotaged which is why this time when it happened, I have raised my concern to Amazon team asking the same.
Amazon team has responded back stating they have detected my account attempting to manipulate Kindle services which I am clearly not. I have ensured all strategies I use to promote my books comply with their Terms and Conditions. I buy cover licenses, even licenses of all the pictures I use to promote my books for teasers and reels, keywords/categories are taken care of and I don't do paid reviews/promotions either.
For now, I am once again dealing with Amazon team to get my account back up.
My upcoming book "FIX MY HEART" release can be delayed. Will let you know the exact date of release in a few days. But promise it won't take long. I want to publish this book on Amazon Kindle Unlimited but if my account issues don't resolve until then, this book will still be released on all other platforms except Amazon.

Nice Precap. Is Sheetal genuinely sorry and is apologizing? Don't think so. Sheetal knew everything before. Waiting for Khushi's reply. She also created a rift between Arshi. Khushi must not forget that.

Even I felt the same.. remember early days when only her Facebook account was getting blocked.. no one else.. why all those excuses so that she could move her stories to blogs.. instead of that she could directly moved here without any excuses .. similarly paper back books makes more money than ebook so I felt to make money all these Amazon suspension of her account excuse but my point is why not make all book paper back without excuses .. just find a good publishing company.. rest should be sorted out..

Annonymous, for your kind information I never approached traditional publishers because I know their pros and cons. So sorry that it hurts your ego, but none of my script has ever been rejected by anyone because I didnt approach them. Maybe when I will and face these hundreds of rejections because of my poor writing, I will let you know. I am forcing you to read my blog or my books. If you still are stuck here playing blame game with me, it is not my problem. I am so sorry that I am not very popular for them to approach me. All my bad luck or bad writing. I agree. Thank you for pointing that out in the name of "constructive criticism.." You are right, no one has time to check my tweets and Instagram posts, but I should have time for you all on this blog and give regular meaningful updates. DeleteWell then approach them.. without approaching how would you know that they would reject it or accept it. You want to be a professional author then face it because in that way you would really earn money and fame. And if they reject it ask them the reason and improve it till they accept it.
DeleteWhen you go for a publishing company they give ample time, a mentor to improvise the script and to guide and to proofread. They promote for you.
So it would really help you gain money fame and saves your time to prioritize things in your life.
BTW it does not hurt my ego if they accept or reject anything. Because you have nothing to do with me. I have only problem with you when you lie. But now that also hardly matters as I said this story already predictable and I am not going to read your next story.
And no need to be sarcastic. Like I said take the advice or leave it but don’t crib that with me this happened that happened that’s why I can’t do this . With so much excuses and false commitments the genuine reason also are not believable.
When you are calm think back and then decide.
And I am genuinely saying about publishing company out of my experience as a person who has been approached by a publishing company to author a book on specific theme.
Regarding getting recognized or being popular think of publishing your story in different national and international mediums. There are many there . Some are commercial and some are free . But it provide reader at a time all updates from writers. You may even go for conventional medium like newspaper where you can publish a weekly column for your story.
But if you are happy publishing back to back 2-3 stories in a month with few loyal followers buying then good luck. But please don’t say I am doing it as my main source of income. Because it doesn’t look like .

DeleteYes I accept the publishing company approach and would be signing contract. I would be writing the book in next 6 months with 300 page. It would be all popular platform but the publishing company would sell it.
Now I am not revealing the publishing company or any further details as it’s in progress.
Great for you Annonymous. All the best for your new venture. Can I at least know who gave me this wonderful piece of advise of not cribbing around (evn though I wasn't cribbing but sharing my problems with my genuine readers here.) Or do you want to still play as Annoymous and not reveal you real name? And thank you for deciding to leave. Trust me it is for your own good. And just a piece of advise from me. Whichever author in my circle (dozens of them) have worked with Traditional publishers all have had bad experiences in terms of their royalties and sales reports hiding and the tenure in which they make these payments to authors which is quite exhausting for us. One of the reason I didn't get into that ditch and they left publishing traditionally and started self publishing like me. So just be very careful in tjose regards. I am Writing from moren than a decade and publishing from 6 years so I don't think I believe I can share this much experience with you. Again , it's all your wish to accept it or not. Also. One last thing. I never opened up ( cribbed according to you) my problems here on blog of FB or anywhere else but last few months I am stressed out with the issues happening in my book business with amazon so opened it up here so that my genuine readers understand my problem and unlike Amazon give me a breather to deal with those with a clear mind without the burden of any negativity on this blog. But maybe you didn't like me doing that. Life has lessons for everyone. Maybe some day you would know my state and realize I wasn't cribbing for attention or ignoring my favourite blog abd Arshi fictions for nothing. Have a great future ahead 👍.

ReplyDeleteDear Madhu di, I love all your ff on arshi and always use to wait for the update. I have a small request can you write a story on arshi where Arnav is a king and Khushi is a commoner. Arnav got attracted to Khushi in their first meet only and became possesive for her. In short he becomer crazy for her.
ReplyDeleteI suck at writing historical romance because it needs a lot of research.. so king kind of era's romance seems difficult. But I can make him a royal like the ones whose ancestors used to rule centuries ago and he is from that kind of royal family.. falling in love with Khushi. :)

DeleteIts been 2 week but no update plz update!!! Just 2 parts left but still the curiosity is intact. The month is ending the year is ending so plz end the story too so that we can have new journey with your new story along with the new year. Hoping to get an update at earliest....
