“I said I’m not hungry.” Arnav keeps flipping the pages of the file before him without even looking at me.
Fine! I knew he wouldn’t be an easy husband ever. I turn around and lock the door of his study room and then march inside. Arnav realizes I’ve locked us up here but he doesn’t take his gaze off the papers. I keep the bowl of Kheer on his desk and then whirl his chair to force him face me. He looks a bit startled by my actions but I don’t care.
“It’s not about you hunger but the family’s traditions, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada. Your newly wedded wife made this kheer for everyone and if her husband doesn’t taste it, there is no point doing all of this. We vowed to understand each other and stand by each other in times of happiness and sorrow. So just a day after taking those auspicious marriage vows you can’t hold me responsible for something I just said in the heat of the moment. Something which I didn’t mean the way you perceived it. So..” I pull the bowl near him and then exhale. “Please have the kheer when you have time or rather when you are hungry.”
I turn around to leave but before I can walk away, Arnav grabs my wrist and pulls me on his lap. My hands automatically shift to his shoulders and grip him there as Arnav circles his arms around my waist and looks intensely into my eyes. My breathing sky rockets at the sudden closeness between our bodies and all my focus goes on his lips which have a smirk on them.
“Feed me,” he demands huskily.
What? My jaw drops at his demand.
“That’s also a part of the ritual, isn’t it?” he asks. “I’m not asking something out of the world, Khushi. If we are fulfilling every tradition and every vow we have taken towards this relationship, then this is also a part of it. You need to feed the Kheer to your husband and not just demand him to eat it when he has time.”
I just happened to check the reviews section of my last update "The Wait - Chap 10" and I'm startled. We are all Arshi fans. It's not about negative or positive comments. It's like a war going on there and clearly, a few are taking Arnav's stand, a few for Khushi which is again not wrong. But the way these comments are turning out, pointing out at each other is not making it look good. Cmon friends. We are here reading/writing/sharing our opinions on a fictional story. Let's just stick to that. I wouldn't ask anyone to have trust in me and how I'll shape the plotline ahead. I know eventually everyone is going to love this story as you have loved my other fiction here on this blog. So just let it loose. I definitely like when you all get involved with the story so much that the comments keep flooding, but not like this.
A lot many twists are happening in the plot ahead. I'm trying my best to give you regular updates and not keep you waiting for a week for the next one. Just bear with me please at the moment. And thank you once again for all the love readers. This blog is Live and will always be because of your support and wishes.

Have compassion for your family and be heartless towards your enemies. This has been my only slogan since I became the backbone of the RS Group of Companies where I am in charge of dealing with their tricky competitors. This time our focus is on the AR Group, which has rattled to its core ever since its CEO, Aarav Raichand allegedly stepped down from his position. Whatever they say, I'm still certain he's a tornado disguised as my business rival. There’s something about this man that I loathe and something that draws me insanely towards him. This unseen magnetism between us coaxes me to believe Aarav is that missing piece of my life’s puzzle, which I had given up solving.
Aarav Raichand
Two years ago, my world crashed down forever when I lost my wife, Jhanvi Raichand. But then I saw her again, this time in my rival’s arms. Everyone said she only had a similar face. I believed that too. She wasn’t my Jaan. She was not the one who transformed me from a vengeful man to a loving husband. But I was drawn to her like a moth to fire. Could she be my Jaan and didn’t want to recognize me anymore? If I could avenge my family to bring justice to my life earlier, I would burn down the world this time to get this woman in my arms again. The only difference is that this time there will be no rules. It’s about time I remind them what it meant to meddle with the love of a big bad wolf!!
The world had seen my Revenge; now they would witness my Rivalry.

Romantic Singh Raizada. Arnav is so cute and sweet. Khushi should start behaving nicely with him. She should say sorry for her behaviour. Now will Khushi feed Arnav. Hope she don't reject him. Waiting for some lovely romantic moments between Arshi. Nice Precap.
ReplyDeleteOmg can’t wait so cute ☺️
ReplyDeleteI love this romantic Arnav.Hope Khushi will act maturely and won’t end up doing anything stupid. She should say sorry to Arnav and pacify him.I feel she should try accepting her marriage with Arnav, and give Arnav a chance.
ReplyDeleteI think thats what she is trying to do in this precape, isn't?
DeleteAwesome
ReplyDeleteKhushi is so mature, sensible, calm and composed in this story. So much has happened with her but she never losses her nerves neither throw burden of misery and agony to anyone. Never for once she complained or blamed anyone. She so perfectly keeping the broken pieces of her heart to just herself, instead trying to brightens others hearts. She is so brave and strong.
ReplyDeleteArnav is also not less in this story. He is also very much calm and composed in this story, for a change. The way he is willing to support khushi in this new journey of theirs is very beautiful. I hope he keeps doing and also tell khushi every secrets before anyone else gets the chance to used it against them.

DeleteFlow and interest which we have for next part gets lost by the time next part comes. I remember I used to open and refresh this blog every alternate day with so much excitement to read the next part. Now while refreshing the page, I feel like what's the point the part won't be updated.
ReplyDeleteRomantic...Romantic....
ReplyDeleteLovely
I am loving their moments
ReplyDeleteWaiting 🙇♀️
DeleteNow me too think that madhu needs to end this blog. She seriously needs to think in this regard and consider the fate of this almost non active blog. Im not being venomous or harsh but im saying all this pure out of concern. Madhu clearly seems very much busy and way too much occupied because of her professional life that even after so much efforts and trying, she isn’t able to get even give 1 update a week. For a blog, being updated 3 times a day before to hardly 3 times a month now, is a huge transition and a clear indication of the changed times and circumstances of the blog as well as the blogger. We don’t need to be negative about it. It can be taken into consideration that now as the time changes, the writer has other commitments and priorities as compared to past times. Everyone changes, move on or grow up in their lives as well as in their careers. We can’t expect them to remain the same as decades before. In the past, Madhu used to update alot and was very consistent because she used to have alot of leisure time but now she doesn’t and so she isn’t or better say she can’t update like in the past. Now she only has time for her professional life and she wants to focus on it and its ok. She has every right to. If she isn’t able to be consistent or be active on this blog, its ok too.The only thing is wrong is that now madhu needs to accepts this reality too that instead of forcing herself to keep something alive which isn’t working much and keep everyone hanging its better to called it quit in a peaceful manner for everyone sake. Mostly hers. Hope she understands that now this blog is a lost battle and it needs to let it go.
ReplyDeleteWe have wonderful work of Madhu to re-read whenever we want to read Arshi stories. It's not that we don't understand. Changes happen in everyone life and we can't expect Madhu to stay active as she was before.
DeleteShe can remain inactive as long she wants and whatever her schedule permits. Nothing wrong with it. What’s wrong is making false promises. If she says she would update once a week, then she should keep that commitment. If she can’t keep her commitment then she should not promise and no one would visit her blog in the hope of update.
DeleteThats what the point is. No one is or can expect madhu to update according to us and forget her other works. She is unable to be active or better say unable to keep this blog going so she should be clear about it. The whole and important point is Admittance and Acceptance of the same by madhu. The fate of the blog is clear to anyone but madhu is trying to alter it very hard going beyond her capabilities which is not good and isn’t working in anyone’s favor.
DeleteIt would be better if she finishes writing the full story at the pace suitable for her and then uploading the parts.
DeleteIt would be the best thing to do.
