The Wait - Precap for Chapter 19

ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA

“Is Dhruv okay, Doctor?” I ask curiously as the Dr Patel comes out of Dhruv’s bedroom.

“Yes, he is fine now. He needs rest though. It was a mild panic attack. Something must have triggered his mind which led him to this attack.”

I sigh, turning to Khushi who is heading to Dhruv’s bedroom with vegetable soup. She looks sad, and worried just like everyone else in the family is.

“But Doctor, will this happen again?” Di asks in a panic.

“Maybe. He met with an accident in Greece, right? Maybe that and his absence in the family, loneliness and solitude must have been the triggering point of this attack. So, I suggest, just don’t let him be alone. And please keep him happy. Medicines will work only if he is happy and surrounded by the family. Any stress or situations against his liking can worsen his state. We’ll do some more tests in the coming week to see how soon we can get him rid of such panic attacks in future.”

I patiently listen to everything but I can’t understand the reason behind this attack. The family might not know this but I know that Dhruv never met with any accident in Greece. He had purposely disconnected himself from the family, isolated himself and hence faked his accidental news to us.

Di heads out with the doctor checking on Dhruv’s special diet whereas I push the door open and enter Dhruv’s room. The sight before me of Dhruv sitting pale and surrounded by the rest of the family who is worried for him, and trying to make him comfortable is fine, but when I realize that Dhruv has no ears or eyes on any one of them but Khushi who is helping him with the pillows behind so that he could sit comfortably, my anger kicks in.

“We should let Dhruv rest,” I declare striding inside the door.

Khushi almost jerks at my harsh tone but the rest of the family is oblivious to it and agrees to my idea. They all get up to leave but Dhruv plays his over smart move again.

“Khushi, can you help me with the vegetable soup? I feel too pale to drink it on my own.”

I clench my jaw at his weird request. For the others Khushi was Dhruv’s best friend once, so they don’t feel it awkward. But me? I am bubbling in anger. Khushi smiles at everyone and nods in agreement to help Dhruv which is again infuriating. I respect her decision to treat Dhruv as a family now, but there are limitations. And I wouldn’t let my wife cross them for anyone. Especially for Dhruv!

“Me and Khushi will be here with Dhruv until he finishes his meal,” I tell to everyone, without breaking my eye contact with Dhruv.

If he thinks I’ll let my wife alone around him, and handle his silly tantrums, he is definitely wrong!

NOTE: I will post this full chapter soon :)

I think arnav will not be understanding all this for long for this fiction I think this war will lead arnav and Khushi for separation after this separation I think Khushi for sure will realize the value of arnav and his honest love

    1. A marriage is a bond between two people.Never allow a third party to come in between the two!

Here Dhruv is doing everything to ruin arshi’s marriage and I hope Khushi is smart enough to understand that.

She needs to stay away from Dhruv. But here she is caring for Dhruv.I hope she will care about Arnav’s feelings as well otherwise arshi’s marriage is not gonna work.Arnav is doing everything in his capacity to make this marriage work.Hope Khushi will ignore Dhruv and never give him a chance to ruin her marriage.

    1. Why Khushi ( Arnav’s new bride ) has to feed Dhruv? What about other family members?

Why Khushi is still caring for Dhruv ( her ex) even after knowing that he is trying to ruin their marriage and there is a lot of tension between Dhruv and her husband?

      Delete
    2. Very true. I can't understand why Khushi should feed her brother-in-law when his sister Angiali's family is there? Why does Khushi take such a risk by bringing Dhruv closer to you even though now Khushi knows about Dhruv.? Moreover it was Khushi who insisted on marrying Arnav. What if he had married someone else, what would he do? Now I really understand that Dhruv is jealous of Arnav, and doesn't want Arnav to be happy. Therefore, Kushi must understand and start acting prudently. Her innocence and naivety do not justify her actions. Thank you dear Madhu for these very beautiful stories with a fantastic development of the subject and characters.

  6. Dhruv is deliberately doing all this. Hope Arnav don't leave Khushi alone post soon. . Thanks for the Precap.Adi

  7. Well if Khushi can't forget her first love, Arnav should let her go. Dhruv is villian or not that's another thing. let's talk about Khushi, she seems to have that love for Dhruv still in her heart, its better Arnav let her go, for her and his own betterment. He can't be always there to stop Khushi cross the line, and honestly he should not too, love is not something you can impose on others, if you truly love someone you set them free to the one she wants to be with. Khushi would feel suffocated if Arnav keeps controlling Khushi every behaviour of Khushi towards Dhruv. It's not Dhruv to be blamed, it's Khushi or Arnav to be blamed for their weak and non transparent relationship.
thank you Madhu, maybe dealyed but considering your hectic schedule can't thank you enough.

    1. Dear you seems to have very personal grudge against khushi that no matter what she is guilty in every chapter and situation even if she is just a silent spectator or standing like a pole in a scene. Please don’t be so hard on the writer as well as yourself. I can understand how its feel when a particular character starts making you feel enraged with just a sight of it. It’s simply spoil your mood and sometime a day too. So if you don’t mind me, my advice would be, don’t take it too much on your heart its just a story. Let it go. Im sorry if i said much don’t mind me plz.

    2. 100% agree with the original comment. Finally someone said it! No matter what, Khushi needs to stay away from Dhruv. A marriage is between two people, never let a third person come in between.

  8. Im glad atleast arnav can see dhruvs intentions if nobody else can. Khushi needs to get her head straight, at one instance shes excited for the date with arnav and on the other hand shes worried and caring for dhruv. Okay let's say she couldn't deny feeding dhruv infront of the family but i hope she denies now that they are alone or asks arnav to feed him cause if shes still towards dhruv arnav should just leave her with him and back off. Cause its high time she understands the relationship highs that she had were with arnav and not dhruv. Why is this so hard to understand for her? And if she was really in love with dhruv and not arnav then she better leave arnav and not ruin his life with a loveless marriage cause i only see arnav taking the invitative to fight for his marriage

    2. Even I don't understand it either; the truth has been revealed by Arnav at that party happened years ago and yet, Khushi seems to favour Dhruv, who is a freaking manipulative ***hole and trying to ruin Arnav-Khushi's marriage. I hope Khushi will seriously wake up from whatever world she's in and see clearly who Dhruv is. Arnav has been patient with her and very much interested in starting anew with her, but there's a limit to one's patience and Khushi better not regrets it when Arnav gives up and leaves.

  9. Wonderful update....arnav is really giving his best i.e the Patience, time, space ,to khushi and relationship to make it work and dhruvis trying everything to get khushis attention and ruin their marriage.what sort of a brother is hello?? going for his bhabhi...!dhruv is selfish sort of a person..maybe from past he didn't like arnav as arnav was better than him in everything so maybe he got to know about arnavs' feelings for khushi,so he made khushi his gf to hurt arnav and get intimate with her and when his plan failed, after doing all the fake accident and returning back he is still trying the same as it will pain arnav more when khushi will once again fall for dhruv...thanku so much madam for the update and precap...

  11. It seems like a Dhruuv game. He is showing off his behavior which is nothing but a mask, and not only his brother Arnav, but also his family is not sorry. If Khushi continues with this naivety, it shows immaturity. Now I have to take a dignified position, to respect myself and Arnav. He is not forgiven for what he is doing, as he is also encouraging Dhruv in his plan. Kushi must understand that for Dhruv, she was just someone he spent time with. Moreover, Khushi found out that Dhruv has rejected her.

  12. OMG! I don’t understand if its just a 1 person or many with the same type of judgement regarding khushi. Whoever it is or whoever they are they are literally hate khushi to the point that he/she/they have only ONLY bad and negative things to say against her. She is literally doing nothing Nothing of the sort of things she is being accused of. She is also working towards their marriage just like arnav from the start, i wonder even after being so responsive, acceptable, respectful and sincere towards arnav she is being called names and nasty things what would have happened if she was a bit of hesitant or nonchalant in this marriage! Its quite amusing to see 1 character being so targeted in every single update when the strings of the story game is on other hands .

    1. I don't hate Khushi since she's my most fave character in IPKKND. But I'm honestly frustrated with her behaviour and how she is in her marriage with Arnav in this story. Now that she's married to him and the truth had been revealed by Arnav on what happened at the party long ago, she should try and focus on her marriage and Arnav, who is her husband. Yes, I do understand that one can't forget one's first love, but not when he was an ***hole like Dhruv, who didn't feel the same about her and didn't want to commit to her in the first place. And now that ***hole is showing so much attention and interest in her and obviously trying to spoil her marriage with Arnav... so, why the 360-degree turnaround by Dhruv?! Khushi is either blind or ignorant, or both, to Dhruv's manipulations whereas Arnav is aware of it and is trying to keep his marriage & love. So what is Arnav's fault in this? Also, before they were married, Khushi was not put at gunpoint by Arnav to accept the marriage when she was first asked about it. He gave her a chance and time to reject the proposal, but she didn't. She should wake up from her 'first-love world' before it's too late and losing Arnav eventually.

  13. This was a sweet surprise! Thank you Madhu for uploading the teaser.

I hate Dhruv in this story. He has a negative shade, doing everything to separate arshi. But why does Khushi still allowing Dhruv in her life? She should stay away from her ex.Never give him the power to destroy her marriage.

Earlier she believed that Dhruv came back to her after the breakup and shared an intimate moment but unfortunately died in an accident. But now she came to realise that it was always Arnav and never Dhruv. Then why she is still caring for Dhruv ? They broke up and she got married! Now she should make her marriage work and stay away from Dhruv.

  14. Thank you Madhu for this teaser.Waiting for the full update. But I do have few questions , does Khushi still has feelings for Dhruv? Why is she prioritising Dhruv’s health over her intimate time / date with her husband Arnav and his feelings? Look at the guts of Dhruv, in asking Khushi to feed him soup.Even a 5 year old can understand his intentions.Dhruv is an absolute red flag and Arnav is a husband material.

  15. Is she for real? Why is she preparing Soup and arranging pillows for the Dumbhead? He is her ex for godsake. They broke up and she got married to Arnav! Her priority should be her marriage and not ex’s health.

  17. I don’t see any fault of khushi or arnav in the whole scenario. They can’t just go and behave all indifferent and cold towards a member of a family who had escaped death and returned after months. Its family fault. It should be them hovering around dhruv, questioned him, analyse his actions and take care of him. It’s actually very stupid of them expecting the DIL of the family to feed her BIL when his sister, mami, nani are there. Who does that. Best friend or not, its not appropriate to ask the DIL to take care of a male member of a family while his own females family member are there.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. - Nowhere it says a family member asked Khushi to prepare soup /arrange pillows for him.(They just didn’t feel awkward!)

      - Arnav says he respects Khushi’s choice to consider Dhruv as family but that comes with limitations, considering he was her ex.

-family didn’t feel awkward when Khushi arranged pillows / brought soup for him because they are thinking that Khushi is worried and caring for him as a friend.

-But here khushi knows the truth that Dhruv was her ex-lover and not just a friend. Her behaviour around Dhruv gave him the guts to ask her to feed him soup, which is very inappropriate.

      Delete
    2. Expecting DIL? Whatever Khushi did was her choice !! But her choices gave Dhruv the power to even ask for more!!

In the last chapter, it clearly says that even if khushi longed for date night , her concern for Dhruv overshadows everything else!!

    3. To the 1st anonymous:
      - I like how observant you are to notice the point that nowhere it says that the family asks Khushi to prepare soup or arrange pillows but I wonder how you failed to notice that it also says nowhere that Khushi went to do all that by herself because of her love for Dhruv. It's just a precap, not a full update so we don't have full info or context regarding the situation we do not who asked whom to do what and who is doing what with which intentions or feelings. Not to forget the scene is from Arnav's pov, not Khushi's to know what she has in her heart during all this.
      - "Arnav says he respects Khushi’s choice to consider Dhruv as a family but that comes with limitations, considering he was her ex." First of all, he didn't say all this to Khushi nor point out his conditions regarding the same to Khushi so how could she overstep them and hurt him?
      - Again, what the family is thinking or had said that time we don't know because first, it's from Arnav's perception of the scene. second, he came in the middle of the situation, he wasn't there present there from the start to have a full understanding of the situation or say what he thinks is right or not.
      - Khushi knows that Dhruv is her ex and thats the whole point. for her he is just a past and now a BIL, nothing more. Yes, She was disturbed initially because according to her knowledge, they didn't break up but now when the truth of that night had come out and it was clear that they broke up, he is just an in-law for her just like the rest of her in-laws. And is just doing her DIL's duty of taking care of her family like she would do for her other BILs, SILs, MILs, and FILs. I don't see anything wrong in taking care of your in-laws or anything appropriate. Not to forget it's a precap, we don't know what will happen next. Maybe Khushi just agreed for the time being and would refuse to feed him once everyone is out of the room.

    5. To 2nd anonymous:
I don't see Khushi saying she wants to make soup for Dhruv or setting the pillow or wanting to feed him neither can see her hidden desire to do so. Because first it's from not Khushi's pov and second it's just a precap.
"her concern for Dhruv overshadows everything else" This might be the biggest lope hole to character assassinate Khushi. Just because the writer wrote this line from Khushi's pov doesn't mean that Arnav didn't feel the same. As soon as the news came, everyone run to Dhruv, not just Khushi only. It wasn't like even after getting the news, Arnav went to their dinner date but Khushi went to Dhruv leaving him behind. Even Arnav forget about everything and went to Dhruv. Also, it would be very insensitive of Khushi to want to go on a date even after hearing about her family suffering from panic attacks. Not to forget, she would still be judged negatively that here Arnav was worried about his brother, and instead of supporting him, consoling him, and understanding him, she wants him to go on a date with her. Because you see, Khushi is said to be evil no matter what. Also, I would like you to please look at what all she did for Arnav before that time in the last chapter.

    6. Just what I observed after reading the story and going through the comment section.

It’s okay to take care of the family members but it’s not okay to take care of an ex who is trying to destroy her marriage.

Giving a red rose because he knows what she likes.Passing shady comments in the dining table and kitchen. He sure is a red flag and thing is everything happens in front of her.Any girl would have reservations interacting with such an ex! Heated tension between the Arnav and Dhruv also happens in front of her.Arnav is not having a cordial relation with his brother.

If Khushi takes a stand against feeding Dhruv, then I would surely respect her for that. But everywhere it’s her husband Arnav who is coming between the two ex lovers. That’s why a commenter, commented that Arnav should just leave her if she cannot take a stand against Dhruv.

      Delete
    7. Khushi should stay awake by Dhruv’s bed side and take care of him because he is “family”lol.
There will be still that one commenter commenting everywhere in support of Khushi defending her if she does that!

Btw the comment section is for the precap only as no one else knows the full story except the writer. So it’s understandable why people are writing comments for the precap only.

Here all are arshi fans, no one wants to pull down khushi purposely.People here are just reacting to the story. That’s all.

Congrats to Madhu, this is how a story should be with lot of shades and depth to each character.

    8. You are totally right that Dhruv is a clear red flag. I'm not denying that. What is he doing is downright disgusting. And according to me, Khushi is avoiding him and any interactions as she can. Not once i have seen her talking to Dhruv after the first meeting. And just like you also noticed that it was Arnav who always came between them whenever Dhruv tries to pull any stunt, because of this we haven't seen Khushi stand regarding Dhruv's stunts. Maybe if given a chance or if Arnav don't come between them for once, Khushi herself would do something to stop Dhruv and set him straight.

    9. "Khushi should stay awake by Dhruv’s bed side and take care of him because he is “family”lol.
There will be still that one commenter commenting everywhere in support of Khushi defending her if she does that!"

According to this in the whole section of 30-50+ comments, there is ONLY 1 person in support of Khushi rest are all with Arnav.

      And then -still- you say:
"Here all are arshi fans, no one wants to pull down khushi purposely".

      LOL.

      I rest my case.

  18. Totally agree with you. It's just 4 days of marriage with Arnav and everyone expects Khushi to accept him wholeheartedly. Like dude, she just knows him from hardly few days, whereas she knew Dhruv from a long time and loved him. Is it so easy to forget first love and move on instantly, accepting Arnav as husband? Here earlier Arnav was demanding kisses from a woman who is still trying to accept that she is married to a person whom she barely knows. Glad that now he understands and gives her space. Khushi is not cheating Arnav, she knows her limits. But whenever she interacts with Dhruv or does something for him, it's considered wrong.

  19. Why marry someone when you can’t accept them wholeheartedly as husband ?

Why marry someone when you still have feelings for your ex?

  20. In which family, it is allowed for one brother's wife to feed the other brother, when the sister and grand mother are still around doing nothing. Anjali is good for nothing. Shame on her. It's her responsibility to chide Dhruv for making such a demand. Here Khushi is equally shameless. Hating this spineless Khushi.

“The excitement of dinner date was building within me, though I also had my reservations”- No reservations when it comes to taking care of Dhruv.
