Prologue
The park was full of kids, all age, but her eyes stuck on the ones with age group 3 - 4. The kids were accompanied by their parents mostly. A sudden void filled her heart when she saw a woman kissing her daughter's cheek lovingly and then placing her on the slide. Tears pooled in her eyes witnessing that scene. Every child deserved this kind of attention from their parents. Every parent’s deserved kids who would shower so much of love on them. She shut her eyes trying to wipe off that bitter memories which life had given her 3 and half years ago, when her phone buzzed aloud. Wiping her tears, she answered the phone call.
"Yes Akash"
"Khushi, he is over drunk again"
She sighed in frustration. This nature of her father had almost panicked her from years. Whenever he is overdrunk he definitely creates a scene, grabbing the attention of media. Was it not enough that their Business was already toggling, that her father was adding up more to her misery. She got up from the Bench and strode out of the park, towards her Car.
"I am coming Akash. Just get him back home, please"
"Don’t worry, fortunately I accompanied him to the Party. I won’t allow him to talk bulshit again. I will get him home" he assured.
"Thanks Akash"
Disconnecting the call, she wore her glares and started the car engine to drive out.
