Khushi bites her inner cheek. Arnav walks out of the room, letting the mother-daughter drama continue. He is agitated and no apology from Khushi Gupta can fix his mood back.
“What kind of relationship this is, Khushi?” Garima shouts again. “You don’t trust him?”
Khushi brushes her hair in frustration.
“I know you have trust issues Khushi but your eyes are open, aren’t they? You can clearly see what he has been doing for us, for You. Who does that? Your father never took our responsibility even after being related to us and this man.. who is he? He is no one to us yet he did so much which no one from even the family will do. And you hurt him by putting such allegations”
“Mom.. I was scared” she blurts out. “I don’t want to end up like you..” she murmurs.
Garima feels hurt but she knows this is the only fear which haunts them both. Khushi has all rights to have a permanent relationship with the right man who can look after her forever.
“Whatever he is doing for us is scaring me” Khushi continues “He is controlling my life.. I am unable to think on my own. I feel like he is pulling the thread and I am dancing accordingly. I am suffocating”
Garima’s eyes fill with tears.
“Arnav is everything unlike your father is” Garima explains for one last time. “If you don’t trust him, you had no rights to over drink last night. You are confused Khushi and this confusion is going to lead you to a dark place where I have already been”
Khushi apprehends which dark place her mother is talking about. It’s the mental instability. She remembers once the Doctor had told her during one such therapy session of her mother’s that mental sickness can be hereditary. She doesn’t want to face the same sickness in future which her mother has.
OMG what has happened during the diner date i was hopping someting Romantic to happen may be khushi got drunk and blaming Arnav for crossing the line Omg omg that means something did happen why why my mind is working overtime

ReplyDeleteWhat happened at the dinner? I thought it would turn into a romantic affair but things has taken another turn. Garima and Arnav should kind of try understanding Khushi's point though. Garima because she has been through things on her on and Arnav because he knows the actual picture being their relationship. He might have desires for her but he cant forget their relation is fake and with his hot and cold behaviour Khushi is confused.

ReplyDeleteI am really getting frustrated by both Arnav and Garima....One side a mother who is living in a dream world who can't even see something is wrong in her daughter's relationship....and on the other side Arnav who wants khushi to behave as he wish... and khushi is trapped in it
