“You don’t remember why you are sleeping in my room?” she crosses her arms at front, looking confidently in his eyes.



Arnav stares at the other side of the bed and then meets her eyes again.

“Where did you sleep?”



Khushi swallows hard because he didn’t ask this normally, his tone was intoxicating and meant to tempt, if only, she was that easy bait.

“You at least recall the apology or even that is washed off from your memories?” she snaps.

“Apology??” he mocks. “And me?” he shoves the comforter off his body, gets down the bed and reaches her. A shiver of anticipation runs in her body.

“Don’t act, Arnav” she clenches her jaw.

Arnav gazes intently at her face.

“The answer to that depends if you are going to accept that apology or not”



It means he remembers; he is just confusing her. He is twisting situations as per his win. If she forgives him for their crooked past, he will accept he apologized and if she doesn’t want to forgive him, he will behave as if he never admitted his guilt.
