“Who wants to talk to me you said?” Khushi Gupta, the youngest daughter of Shashi Gupta, the present Governor of Jodhpur, asks her maid who came in her room to pass on this message.
“Your father wants to talk to you” the maid repeats seeing no reason the Princess couldn’t understand it at the first instance.
Khushi throws her Veil on the bed scattered by her fancy Lehangas. It is her best friend, Suhani’s wedding today and the only reason she has come back to Jodhpur, taking a few days off from her Modeling Shoots.
“Tell him I am not available to talk now. And even if I was, I am not interested to discuss anything with a man who said he doesn’t take me as his daughter anymore”
The maid bows her head and hurries out. She might sound rude but she has all rights to be upset with her father. What was her mistake if her elder sister Payal Gupta eloped and married some stranger? She didn’t help eloping her sister, neither she knows where Payal is now. Payal made no contact with her and Khushi stopped trying to look for her sister after 7 months of failed attempts. Payal is a ghost to the family now and even taking her name in her father’s presence, spoils the mood and decorum of the entire house.

One request for ur story he loves me not please don’t separate them yes they have to go thru hard times but Arshi needs to be together forever … I really feel for this Arnav inspite most of the reader bashing him or calling selfish, spineless but it’s hard too for him too and it’s torture what he is going thru … everyone is neglecting the feeling he goes thru thinking this the family who gives him home otherwise he might not be in this work god knows what might !!! please do something for Arshi so that they can be together
DeleteDont worry. they wont be separated. It is hard to understand what Arnav is going through. His actions might be pushing him into the wrong side for now but once he truly realizes what he is doing, the story will take a new turn. It will be interesting to see how he handles his broken relationship with Khushi apart from the other rough ties he has had with his adoptive parent and Sheetal then
