Arnav Singh Raizada kept meeting people he knew, shaking hands with them, taking compliments for his latest achievements, while she was introduced by Dhruv to his best friends, much away from the man himself. But every time she happened to meet his gaze, she saw a predatory gleam in his dark eyes. An imaginary clock ticked in her ears, reminding her of the hours passing. That 18 hours which he mentioned when they entered this place has now reduced to 16 and there hasn’t been a single minute that thought has skipped her mind.
“I have seen you” Shlok, one of Dhruv’s buddy suddenly exclaims. “You are a Model, if I am right”
Khushi becomes alert. Her modelling career is a past now. She has nothing to do with it.
“No. I train Models” she shrugs.
“But I have seen you walk the ramp. I think some 4 years ago. I am sure it was you”
Khushi is not prepared to handle this conversation but you cannot dump your past.
“I used to, yea. But I left Modelling few years ago”
“Oh, that’s pity. You really belong to that ramp you know”
“Exactly my wish” Kunal Malik joins them. “I have seen her work up-close. She is the best”
