“Sir. You are questioning my daughter?” Shashi fails to control his tone. “You too think she eyes on your son?”
Khushi’s jaw hardens. Her father has put so much trust in her, how is she supposed to break that. If she happens to reveal Ayush Singh Raizada about her true feelings for Arnav, she might break that trust of her father forever. Is she ready to sacrifice that? But what else is she supposed to do? Neither she can drag Arnav in this ditch, nor spoil her father’s reputation and prove Sheetal Mathur right.
“Shashi.. let her speak. I want to listen from Khushi what the truth is” Ayush cuts him off.
“The truth!!” she finally mutters meeting Ayush Raizada’s eyes. Everyone becomes quiet. “The truth Mr. Raizada is that I am looking for marriage proposals.. I wouldn’t have done that if I had any intentions of snatching Sheetal’s place in your family. That’s the truth”
Ayush exhales as if he is glad to hear that. Anything between his son and Khushi would have broken a lot many ties which he cannot afford at the moment.
“How can I be assured that’s the whole truth?” he asks. “I am sorry but being a Businessman I don’t believe things until I actually see them progressing. What if you are covering up for your father? What if you are just making a story which is never going to happen?”

ReplyDeleteI am dreading to read next couple of chapters. I am afraid to know what will be the consequences. Khushi surely would agree to marry Aakash as early as possible after this incident. Sheetal will get what she wants. On the other hand our helpless/coward lead Arnav will keep his mouth shut!! I am very frustrated with the situation.

ReplyDeleteHmm. So even ayush is selfish. He knows if revati knows about this, she will freak out and have a meltdown. That's why he was relieved. But truth will one day come out. So khushi might even get engaged to akash and leave for US. But arnav was soo close to telling ayush that he wanted to break off his engagement with sheetal. I hope he really does that.

Please don't do that. Atleast for Khushi's sake. B'se Arnav don't deserve that consideration. He's the only one who complicated things this much.

ReplyDeleteI feel Ayush has doubts about Arnav's liking for Khushi & he also knows his son would never go against his parents' wish even for his own happiness so Ayush is purposely instigating Khushi to blurt out her heart & that way he can get to know his son's feelings as well.. Just hope he too isn't class conscious & money minded like his wife in terms of love & relationships..

ReplyDeletebut the questions Ayush raised is right. However, I don't want KKG to say she will get married to Akash in couple of days or weeks. Because that's not right. She has given her answer and it's upto Ayush to believe it or not.
I don't want her to say she will marry someone just because Ayush is questioning her.
So much to say for each and every character but I can just say each and everybody is either selfish or just thinking about the other ties
