His message tickled her stomach and also electrified her at the same time. How did he know she got his shirt from Prem Nivas? And that’s it? He messaged her for the first time after 3 days from their fight and this is what he wants to know? If she took his shirt? She typed back a reply.
“You lost your shirt and you want to hold me responsible for that? How careless and insensible Mr. Raizada”
She pushed her phone away and forced her gaze on the laptop screen. Work interested her but the immediate buzz on her phone again, and she lost that interest. It was his reply.
“You have my shirt which means I didn’t lose it. So, I am NOT careless. And it’s better we don’t talk about SENSIBILITY. It will lead to another debate Miss Gupta”
Khushi’s brows twitched. He was so confident she collected his shirt and now it was in her wardrobe as her most prized possession. Her fingers itched to type a reply and she did it within the next few seconds.
“People who poke in other’s past, are insensitive to the pain they are inflicting on that person”
She hit sent and waited for his reply which was again, instant.
“You are not the only one in pain. You said too many things that day to hurt me forever”

She got down the bed and the moment she put her leg forward, she yelped in pain and lost her balance. She was about to fall down when suddenly someone held her arm and balanced her. Jahaan Singh. She placed her palms flat on his chest.
“Were you in a circus before? Always hopping around. You cannot just rest at one place, can you?” he shouted.
“And were you a ring master in the circus?” she snapped. “Because you love to control everyone”
Jahaan pressed his lips into a thin line but she grinned. If he can play humor, so can she.
“Why are you not on bed?” he asked.
“My bladder is full” she touched her stomach.
He took few seconds to process what she meant.
“I rang the bell but seems like the nurse is busy”
Jahaan was frustrated. There was only one reason why the nurse was here and even that she couldn’t do.
“Don’t shout at the nurse. She needs break too”
“I will see what I have to do with her and you”
You? What did he mean by that? Before she could analyze, he bent down and carried her in arms. She was astonished by his move.
“What. What are you..”
He didn’t wait to respond. He strode to the bathroom and once they were inside, he put her gently back on her feet.
“Finish whatever you have to and call me. I am waiting outside at the door”

ReplyDeleteYes, this matter definitely needed to be addressed. Khushi might have not liked Arnav sharing the contract details with Anan or him sending Aman to talk to her and was also hurt when Arnav said he was disappointed in her but things she said have also hurt him deeply and they both need to talk it out.
ReplyDeleteKhushi was jealous whenever Arnav was around any girl be it just a friend or someone his family has searched as his ideal match and now she calls him just an attraction whereas Arnav is serious about taking their relationship forward. Khushi needs to know what she really wants, and if she is really not ready to commit then she should just let him go. She can't play the pull and push game because they are not the only ones to be hurt by that, both of their families will be too!
