Precap for Yaadein - Part 26

Arnav drove the car in silence. After his confrontation with Khushi at the shopping mall, she acted normal before Aarav, smiled and fed him dinner at the restaurant but didn’t speak a word to Arnav. Aarav was dozing at the backseat when Khushi noticed his discomfort.

“Aarav… come to Mumma” she turned around and insisted Aarav to come ahead. He sat on her lap and cuddled her. Arnav slowed down the car until Aarav was comfortable on her lap and she then patted him to sleep. They had cancelled their plans for movie as Aarav had to wake up early tomorrow for school.

Arnav glanced at Khushi once, before accelerating the vehicle again. She was calm but he could feel a storm building inside her, ready to burst. As they reached Shantivan, Arnav parked the car and got down. He then assisted Khushi by opening her side door and carrying Aarav on his shoulder. Khushi quietly followed them to Aarav’s room. He was fast asleep. She moved away the toys from his bed. Arnav settled their son and removed his shoes while Khushi caressed his hair and kissed his forehead. Despite their ugly confrontation, Aarav had fun tonight on his first date with his parents. That was the only good part about it. Arnav covered him with the quilt and Khushi turned off the table lamps. They strode out and shut his room door.

“Khushi..”

“Good night Arnav” she didn’t pay any heed and left for her room.

Arnav exhaled at her ignorance. He knew he had hurt her but that was the truth. He couldn’t trust her enough 8 years ago to be a part of their lives. But the way she cared for Aarav and took her place in this family again, he wondered if he was prepared to change his views about her?

Note: Will post this part tomorrow.

  1. Arnav should have trusted Khushi. I know she did mistakes but still now Khushi's ignorance is bothering him. Nice Precap😍😘

  2. Who abandoned his wife when she just lost her memories and is clueless of her whole life, just because you were not sure whether she would hurt their son in future or not . Was that right in his part. Wasn't it his duty to look after his wife in hard time. Ok khusi was wrong we got it. She should be punished. She failed as a mother and wife. But arnav too failed as a husband. Why are partners needed? so that they could be for eachother during their ups and down, right. But was arnav for her. I'm still not sure on his love for khusi.

Eagerly waiting for the full update Di.

    2. Very true.. if Khushi is at fault for not being able to fulfill her part of the relationship then so is Arnav..

    3. Valid point you've raised here and I do agree. But Khushi had a valid reason - her memory loss. She was not even informed or told of Aarav's existence or what happened...I mean she was kept completely in the dark about her having a child with Arnav. Why didn't Arnav reach out to her all these years or check up on her? All those years, he has hated her and it was not entirely her fault for not keeping touch with Arnav or Aarav because of what happened to her. And to blame her entirely is totally unfair.

  3. If Arnav is not able to trust Khushi anymore because of her mistakes he should not give hopes to her and move on in his life.

I feel the story is a bit dragged now. Want to know who is the mystery man.
