Khushi’s POV
“Khushi? What are you doing here at my office?” Manohar Jha leans back on his MLA chair while his assistant follows me inside.
Yes, I came straight to his political party office to meet him personally.
“How are you doing Uncle?” I ask heading to his table.
“I am always doing good. And now that Shyam has agreed to proceed with the marriage, you won’t believe how much happy I am. Anyway, when are you putting down your papers?”
“Which papers?”
“Resignation. No women of our family have ever worked after marriage. So wouldn’t you. Didn’t Shyam ask you to resign from AR Group?”
I knew it already. Manohar Jha is very strict and conservative about his family traditions and a few of them are very baseless like the one he just shared with me.
“That won’t be needed, Uncle. I am not resigning the company and nor getting married to your son.”
He glares at me.
“I am not in a mood for jokes Khushi.”
“Neither I”
I turn around and wave at my lawyer to come inside. He gets in with a suitcase and some papers.
“I am clearing my father’s debt which he had taken from you and which also is the very base of this alliance between our families.”
Note: Will post this full part tonight.

Standalone Enemies to Lovers Romance Novel
Jhanvi Sikand
I was supposed to marry my childhood friend, Mohit Raichand. Call it fate or destiny, I tied the knot with the Forbidden Heir of the Raichand family – Aarav Raichand, instead. I knew nothing about him except that he used me as a pawn to start a war to snatch from the Raichands what was legally his.
Aarav Raichand
Despite being the firstborn in the Raichand family, they forbade me from the rights and tags I should legally own. My father was secretly married to my mother, his middle-class lady love. Yet my egoistic grandmother got him re-married to another woman from her rich circle. She considers their offspring, Mohit Raichand, as the true heir of the family now. I would have ignored it all had her actions not taken my mother’s life. I pledged on my mother’s grave to crush the ego of my grandmother and snatch what is rightfully mine, including the woman she was getting Mohit married to.
A Fight for dominance altered to War for Love. One war, Three Lives, Only Two could survive.

Wah! Waiting🤞
ReplyDeleteSuperb ..waiting for the full update
ReplyDeleteKhushi rocked. She payed her dad's debt also not marrying that jerk Shyam. Nice Precap.
ReplyDeleteWoohoohoooo...!!! Khushi setting Manohar Jha on fireee 🔥🔥🔥... But I doubt it will be that easy... What about the interest.?! 🙈
ReplyDeleteI really hope KKG document or record this somewhere because it's Manohar Jha and he might be shrewd. So yes give your best move KKG
ReplyDeleteGlad to see it was Khushi herself that managed the amount.. cause always having a man to help you isn't what women want.. I wonder what Arnavs reaction will be when he finds out she sold her apartment and stays in a hotel
ReplyDeleteWhy do I feel it is not going to be easy for Khushi to get rid of Shyam and Arnav will come to her rescue.. would be interesting
ReplyDeleteOmg this is going to be new twist.for sure he will not take this lightly and will do anything to make khushi agree for marriage.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling this will get resolved with Arnav marrying Kushi.
