Arnav’s POV


“Where is Dad?” I ask my mother who turns her phone camera and I see my father doing something in the kitchen. He’s wearing an apron and the way he is jumping from one spot to other, and the smoke that come from the pan which is on the stove, confirms he is on the verge to of getting scolding by Mom.

“Ayush, stop wasting food. Making Pasta for me is not your forte..” Mom shouts at Dad who doesn't seem to stop continuing.


I laugh at that sight. Wish I was in AR mansion to see it Live.

“Ignore him, Arnav. How are you and Khushi? Are you enjoying there?”

“Very much… Hold on…”

I see Khushi entering my room and I wave at her to come fast.

“Mom’s call.”

She hurries and soon takes a seat next to me on the couch.

“Hey Aunty..” she waves at Mom who smiles back at her. They speak for few minutes, while I only admire them interact.

“So, how’s my son as a boyfriend?”

Mom’s sudden question amuses Khushi. She glances at me and then back to Mom on the phone screen.

“I mean… These Raizada men are very hard to please. Their anger is always on their nose and possessiveness in their tone,” Mom adds.

“Well..” Khushi passes me another glance before answering. “It wasn’t very hard to convince the junior Raizada.. All I had to wear is a sarong..”


Mom and Khushi both laugh heartily and though they are making fun of me, I don’t mind. The two most important women of my life were happy, what else did I want?
