Chapter 29A
Khushi’s POV
I could feel it even before our vehicle entered the gates of Sheesh Mahal again. There was something haunting about this palace right from the first time I had stepped in here after my wedding to Arnav but the darkness that loomed over this palace tonight was much scarier than before. We were supposed to start early from Shantivan but Arnav and Akash had to wind up some work at their Delhi office and the family didn’t want to leave them there to come later, so we were delayed.
It’s around 11:00 pm now when the cars park before the palace and everyone starts getting down. The family doesn't have any idea about Chandrika’s death that took place in this palace but Arnav has told them about the basement room incident and the scary mannequins which were found in there. It came as a shock for everyone but now the room is locked by the servants as strictly instructed by us. The puja will be performed tomorrow morning by a dozen of priests including Payal’s father Gopalji and only when that’s done, me and Daadi will be at ease.
Arnav presses my arm and that brings me out of my reverie.
“Don’t want to get down?” he asks.
I realize it’s just us in the car. Everyone has already entered the palace. There is so much I have to tell Arnav about the past of this Palace but giving him half information is not going to make him believe in ghosts and negative energies. Plus, I still don’t understand where does that blue-eyed version of Arnav fits into this Chandrika’s story?
“How long are we going to stay here?” I inquire as he shuts the engine of the car.
“I didn’t understand..” Arnav mutters. “You mean how long we are going to be in Sheesh Mahal or India?”
“It’s one and the same, Arnav. Until we are in India, this is where we will stay so I want to know how early are we leaving back to London?”
He looks a bit surprised which I know why?
“You are in a hurry to leave for London? Has your father agreed to shift with us there?”
“No” I shrug. “I told you he might never agree on that.”
“Then why are you hurrying?”
“Because I don’t want to stay in this Palace..”
He stares at me in confusion.
“Because of the basement room?”
“Yes.. This palace gives me negative vibes Arnav.”
“This is our home, Khushi. Our ancestors have lived at this very place. This Palace is our legacy.. The Raizadas legacy..”
“Maybe but..”
“Don’t..” Arnav snaps. “I understand you are afraid but that’s exactly why we are doing the Puja tomorrow, aren’t we? And you also told me that doing so will drive away all the bad eye which is on this Palace..”
“Yes I believe that but I don’t know if it’s enough.. I don’t want the family to face anything bad here..”
Arnav rubs his jaw as if he doesn't like to hear my confidence in staying in this palace wavering.
“Alright,” he finally nods. “I’ll finish my work in a month max and then we will start for London. But as I said, we are not going to leave your father alone in this place. He’ll have to join us no matter what. And if you can’t convince him, I will. Happy?”
His assurance brings my smile back. Forgetting we are in the confined space of the car, I unbuckle my seatbelt and lean towards him to give Arnav a cheek kiss. He happily takes one from me and the moment I am about to move back, he holds me back in place.
“You have no idea how I waited for us to reach back here so that I could get you all for myself again..”
My cheeks flame at his declaration.
“You are not the only one who has waited..”
My honest reply makes him grin. The next I know he gets down the car and pulls me out. Within a second again, Arnav carries me in his arms and gaits us inside.

Awesome Update. Hope the Puja goes well. Did Chandrika gave birth to the blue eyed Arnav. Khushi wants to shift to London as she fears something bad will happen and Arnav too agree. Liked his thought of taking Khushi's dad along with him. Romantic Arnav is back with Romantic Khushi. Looking forward to the next part😍😍

Raizada reached sheesh mahal after opening the basement room. Khushi hurrying to leave London but until blue arnav and chandrika chapter fully end they can't leave sheesh mahal.

I guess Khushi should tell about chandrika to arnav, otherwise, he will not take the matter seriously.
And arshi or raizada start to face the scary moment from the moment now.
