Khushi’s POV
There is a complete silence in the room and the only words that hang between us are ‘Do you love Lavanya?’
This is the question I asked Arnav after knowing his last night’s shirt had the fragrance of a lady’s perfume. He even told me he was with her last night after he asked his driver to take me home. So now all that is left for me to know is if he loved that other woman.
“Tell me, Arnav..” I snap.
“Why?” he smirks. “Why does knowing it matter to you?”
“I need to know why you married me if you loved someone else.”
“Ahh..” he takes a step closer and I take one towards him. I don’t think I ever was afraid of him. Earlier he was the only man who made me feel safe and even though now I despise him like he hates me, I am not afraid of him or his newly acquired dark side.
As soon as I am close to him, Arnav grabs my arms and pulls me to his body with a roughness he has recently acquired in handling me.
“Because my urge to avenge you supersedes every other feeling, I got in me.”
Oh! He hates me that much, huh? Never thought a man would ever say that to me with so much honesty.
“But do you love her?” I repeat, this time looking straight in his eyes and he grins.
That devilish grin doesn't suit him. Arnav’s grip on my arms tightens as he pulls me closer and leans to my ears.
“How can I love someone else when you have brutally stamped that feeling from inside me which I once had for you?” He whispers and my heart skips a beat.
It might be a whisper but it’s painful and full of hatred. Arnav pulls me away to meet my gaze again. I can literally see his dark soul in his eyes.
“You have ruined me for every other woman Khushi. I can’t love anyone. Not even you anymore.”
His words baffle me and they only point out one thing. Something major has transpired in his life after that night we met last and he holds me responsible for it. What have I don’t anything unknowingly that has changed his entire course of life?
Note: Only Precap tonight. Will post this chapter tomorrow.

The Forbidden Series - Book 2 (Enemies to Lovers Romance Novel)
Khushi Thakur
Have compassion for your family and be heartless towards your enemies. This has been my only slogan since I became the backbone of the RS Group of Companies where I am in charge of dealing with their tricky competitors. This time our focus is on the AR Group, which has rattled to its core ever since its CEO, Aarav Raichand allegedly stepped down from his position. Whatever they say, I'm still certain he's a tornado disguised as my business rival. There’s something about this man that I loathe and something that draws me insanely towards him. This unseen magnetism between us coaxes me to believe Aarav is that missing piece of my life’s puzzle, which I had given up solving.
Aarav Raichand
Two years ago, my world crashed down forever when I lost my wife, Jhanvi Raichand. But then I saw her again, this time in my rival’s arms. Everyone said she only had a similar face. I believed that too. She wasn’t my Jaan. She was not the one who transformed me from a vengeful man to a loving husband. But I was drawn to her like a moth to fire. Could she be my Jaan and didn’t want to recognize me anymore? If I could avenge my family to bring justice to my life earlier, I would burn down the world this time to get this woman in my arms again. The only difference is that this time there will be no rules. It’s about time I remind them what it meant to meddle with the love of a big bad wolf!!
The world had seen my Revenge; now they would witness my Rivalry.

Nice Precap. Khushi and Arnav both love each other. Did Khushi hurt him in her silliness and immaturity. There must be some misunderstanding between Arshi. Hope it get sorted soon. Arnav is hurting himself and Khushi too. Nice Precap.
ReplyDeleteWoaaahhh.. okay now this is starting to make sense.. looks like there's more than heartbreak involved in this story.. death of someone related to Arnav maybe? That's why he's so bitter.. tho I hope it's not death related.. that would be too hard to forget for them in the future
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Shashi Gupta has a hand in something from the past which khushis isn't aware of and Arnav is holding Khushi responsible for that.. hope if there's any misunderstanding it sorts out soon..
ReplyDeleteWohhh That Was Awesome..Hopefully It Will be A Long Chapter....
ReplyDeleteAs I Am Guessing It's About SomeOne Very Precious To ArNaV And May Be Only Shashi is Responsible And That Nigh The Most Innocent One Has Dead.
To her it is one kiss, but for him.... Looking forward
