I don't know what's stopping you from making a official announcement but it has become a fact and a schedule i.e 2 updates a week with 1 or 2 precaps. Period. You haven't updated more than this from a long time and i have observed it and had make peace with it. I just wish you make it official soon coz its for the betterment of yours more than us. Plz consider.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of official announcement are you waiting from me? Can you please elaborate that? Do you mean you want me to stop writing here and wasting reader's time in coming to the blog everyday and refreshing the page? Tell me one fan fiction writer who still posts daily updates or at least 3-4 updates per week from more than a decade. Anyone in my place would have shut the blog and writing for free long time ago and do what helps me earn from my passion of writing. I don't want to do it because I love being a part of the IPK world as much as you all do. I try to draft a part and if not then at least a precap if I have less time. I post it even if I have to sleep around 2:00 or 2:30 am every night because of my busy schedule of managing books + blog. And when I still can't draft anything, I manage to leave a note at the end of the day if I can't post. By now readers are used to my routine of updates which happens at late night only so I kindly want to request readers not to waste time in refreshing the blog page every day if thats bothering everyone so much. Kindly just check the blog daily once max to know if there is an update. It will save your time too. It's not something that I can make an official statement that I will be update only 2 - 3 full updates weekly or more/less than that. It all depends on my daily schedule and its hard for me to predict as I have to take care of too many things here including my personal and professional (writers) life. I hope you understand. And if you cant, I dont have any better way to explain more than this.

My suggestion is just don’t wait till night, becoz it becomes so irritating to wait till night n no update makes us more hyper !
Just read in the morning after your complete your works ! You won’t get that frustrated for the update and u ll understand to wait n let it go off ! Be at peace and enjoy reading ffs !
Dear, night or morning, it doesn't matter because in the end we are either having a update or not and for that we are and have to "check/checking". And some people have problem with checking the page continuously for the update, not with no update.

ReplyDeleteYou celebrated 13,000,000 page views recently. Do you guys not realise how she has gotten those, because we check for updates frequently which is unnecessary. Earlier, I used to do the same but I check for updates only on weekends now. So my frustration has gotten a lot down. A writer sure is busy but you all don't let your worth down waiting and begging for updates. You don't need to follow up her schedule just so that you read, get yourself some priorities.

I don't know why a few readers are projecting it like I should stop writing on this blog when I have no such plans to quit. If "YOU" want to quit on a happy note, please do. I am not forcing anyone to come here daily and check my updates. I intend to keep Arshi fictions running even after my ongoing ones complete. I am just requesting you all to understand that I too have my priorities and if I don't post daily, you please try to understand and accept THAT fact. I got 13 Million page views not only because people come and keep refreshing here daily but because of my consistency and dedication and hard work which I never stopped doing. Writing is my passion. And it includes writing on Arnav and Khushi too. So much of negativity here on my blog is making me cringe these days and I never expected after writing for more than a decade instead of we understanding and respecting each others priorities and changes in life situations are busy in accusing each other. This is so disturbing now. Seriously, I want people to quit reading my fictions if you can't handle my inconsistencies in posting updates here. Thats far better than playing this blame game.
DeleteOfc I'll gladly quit if this continues. The reality is Madhu you have become so full of yourself since you are one of those 0.1% active ff writers after all these years. That comment was not bashing you. It was just an advice since your life is keeping you busy these days. So much negativity is because of we've lost patience since you've been doing this for months. It was constructive critisism at first but you never acknowledged it(you did the same now) and so it has turned into negativity now.

DeleteI would have given a closure for my mental and physical stability. Not the regular updates but I'd write short ffs once a while. Ofc I love Arshi but I love myself more. So if its turning negative, I'd take a step back. Also I would have taken a break if there was a book publish. I'm not asking you to quit blogging bcoz of the irregular updates but coz of the busy life you have now in comparision to the past.

Delete1. I somehow can't end up writing short ffs. I have tried that over the years but the story never ends up in 20-30 parts but it is something I will try from now.
2. Book publishing is a continuous processs for me now. So I can't take a break for doing the same from blog as I want to continue my fictions here too. Despite my family and friends also asking me to stop writing for free and not stress over the blog and just do what gets me paid, I am not willing to do that because my affection for this space of mine is something which no one except Arshi fans like you all can understand.
3.Health is important and so is my readers precious time, totally agree on that. Can't just decide on which days I will update and which I won't, because thats really not something in my hand at the moment to give a schedule like that.
4. I'll work on some resolution which works for all of us because I don't know about you all, but for me each one of you have always been important and it will remain so no matter who hates me and wants to quit reading my blog hereon.
5. I got triggered to respond on these comments here because of remarks like "page reads of 13 Million +", "leaving on positive note", "You've become so full of yourself", and stuff like that which was mentioned here.
I have nothing against anyone of you. And even at the end of the day, you all are not Strangers for me but my fiction readers and I don't know if its only me but I already feel a personal connect with each one of you who are here on this blog to read my work.
Thank you for all the support shown so far. Thank you for the advices. Thank you for all the constructive criticism.
I will rework on my schedule to make it more flexible and acceptable for all of us.

DeleteHello Madhu first of all your updates are awesome and you have given us wonderful stories about Arshi for years and I would like you to ignore negative comments because those negative comments are worthless people whose main aim is to discourage you from writing wonderful stories.

It’s your choice to come and read. If you don’t like to wait for updates then don’t read here. No one is forcing you. Your Negative comments are showing your rudeness and what kind of negative person you are nothing else.
