SEARCH FICTIONS ON THIS BLOG

NEW Swoony Romance on my Premium Content

Please Give it a thought

1. Would any of you write Arshi fictions for more than a decade with same consistency in regular updates throughout?

2. Which would be your priority: Writing Free fictions and posting daily / Focusing on your profession/job/personal life and then juggle to make up some free time daily to write fictions on your blog?

3. Do you always have the same daily routine and there are no last minute changes in your daily schedule or agenda?

4. Do you never fall ill? Have family issues? Feel emotionally drained? Get busier with work?

If all this is acceptable in your lives then why not in mine?

I totally understand your love and support towards this blog and the fictions here which I update putting my best energy and dedication. The way people are commenting on my "No Updates Today" posts is giving me vibes that you all have considered me some kind of a robot who has to think creatively on fresh ideas, draft them long enough to make it a whole chapter and update daily as per everyone's convenient time to read.

Who am I? Just an Arshi lover who likes to write about them and I haven't left doing so from a decade. Had you been in my place, wouldn't your life priorities change? Wouldn't you be more focused on your career, personal life, health and other important activities? Then why I am been blamed every single day these days on the blog?

I am late to update then I am asked why I am late.

I don't post an update then I am asked to quit writing or make an official statement when exactly I am going to update every week

If I post only precaps, I am asked for longer updates the next day

Who am I friends? I am not a machine. Please understand I have a life apart from being here. Those days were different when I gave 3 updates daily. They were the initial phases of my writing period where my priorities were different. Then came the days when I could hardly post only one update per day and take break on weekends, and it happened when my career became stronger and demanded more time to focus on it. Now I am publishing books on a platform because that's my source of income monthly so obviously it feeds me and my family and I will focus on my books daily even if it means I will have to skip a day or two posting fictions here or my updates are late or irregular or small.

Wouldn't you do the same?

What is so hard in understanding this basic fact? I know not everyone thinks so and I should be ignoring the negative comments here and move on and keep doing what I do but... being a human it hurts.. and it makes me think after so many years is this all I get from the people who have always loved my work?

Despite mentioning it time and again on this same topic, it's recurring again and draining me emotionally.

P.S I AM NOT QUITTING THE BLOG. JUST WANT YOU TO TREAT ME AS A NORMAL ARSHI FAN LIKE YOU ALL AND HELP ME WRITE AND POST WITHOUT SUCH NEGATIVE DISTRACTIONS.

  1. I don’t understand why people behave with so much negativity. Madhu does us a favor by sharing her work here. Day or two are skipped due to other commitments then we all should be supportive. Life happens. If you don’t like the wait stop reading and move on. Love reading your work Madhu. Keep writing and ignore naysayers.

  2. I know. I have recently seen such negetive comments. I have read many Arshi fan fiction and with due respect I am saying many a times writer didn't even update for months and we use to wait . Because there were no other options. But only after visiting your page I saw you Updating regularly. Be it a precap in the morning and the entire Update in the night. In fact you have been the most consistent among them. I know you have not been that regular recently as you have said that your life has changed you have a career and you have a family too. I completely understand. But not all are understanding and positive like me. You getting hurt is natural but still I will say ignore all this negetivity . All the readers who love your writings will always be with you. We can't control the negetivity but can ignore them. Please dont let the negetivity affect you and keep writing. Yes sometimes waiting for an Update is difficult but not that impossible. Infact I read your completed stories also . As a reader we must also be understanding and empathetic. Please stay strong and I love your stories so much 💓. Adi

  3. omg what a thickhead. no one is asking for a daily update but a NOTICE beforehand so we dont have to keep waiting all week; inform there wont be updates this week.... all this victim card.

"precaps are your escape." also all our lives are same, you being a writer doesnt make you special so think b4 saying 'if this is acceptable in your life and whatever'... YOU are a great writer coz all those sentences which people commented on the last post, were twisted dirtily in this post.

you give off a vibe of a sour loser now.

    2. Thank god negativity will be finally gone from this blog then. Do you really think you are doing any favour by reading her work. You read for your enjoyment. You are hooked with the story line.

    3. Please leave misha because it was you who is so emotionally drained to curse madhu when it was you who desperately wait for her updates. She writes for herself and people read because they love her work so kindly respect that she doesn't work on your payroll to listen your nonsense.

    4. Ms.This is bad behaviour.you should not verbally abuse people ,especially people who has not hurt any body ,

    5. May be you could just check the blog once in a week and read if you are really that interested! Don't have to wait and feel disappointed or call the writer a sore loser when in reality she's doing this for free and has been doing this for more than a decade now. So many writers have moved on from this fanfiction world. She hasn't. That itself is something to be appreciated. Like you mentioned, you can't wait. Don't bother. All's well for all of you! No hard feelings.🤗🤗

    6. @Misha

For someone who reads free fan fiction , essentially enjoys herself off someone else's labour, you sure are ingrate!

You may get upset when you don't get an update to read but honestly that is a writers’ prerogative, just like it is yours to read or not...

…and yes while we all do have a life like the author, in addition to her regular life, she spends time thinking of plots, ideas, dialogues and then writes it all.. which takes a lot more time than sitting on your arse, reading something in a blink and being nasty when things don't happen the way you desire.

Yes, it is the readers that make a writer successful but that doesn’t give the reader the right to be downright nasty when you haven’t bought and paid to read the work. Easy to sit, do nothing and criticise others.

Yes it is frustrating when an author doesn’t update for weeks and months but this poor child is quite consistent with her updates and yet you, a free loader, are so nasty. She doesn’t have to update as regularly as she does and if it bothers you so much, don’t haunt the site and wait to read. Go find someone else who updates every day to satisfy you.

I don't know Madhu personally nor have I interacted with her on this blog, but I am deeply offended by your uncalled for, uncultured diatribe.

      Shame on you.

      Quite appalling really.

In case you didn't get it, your triade is a reflection on you as a person , no skin off the author's nose!

Please shut it and just leave if you're not happy. And also, don't forget to take your negativity and bullsh*t elsewhere with you. We don't need it here and neither does Madhu. She's trying her very best to update whenever she can. Everyone of us has a personal life and so does she. So if you're such a pompous self-centered and impatient ingrate who are not able to wait for her updates on her stories, you can just leave without being nasty; I mean nobody is threatening or stopping you to not leave. So, go fly a kite, if you're not happy.

    9. @Misha its okay feel free to leave and never come back we will not miss you bye!!!!!bye!!!

  4. Hi dear, just focus on your life, and about updating how you are comfortable, you do like that, as you are such a good writer, that every word and description of story seems real,so as arshi fan some expectations are there from you,it doesn't mean you don't have a personal life, your health is also important, just keep doing what you do,you will gain sucess in life, all the best...

    ReplyDelete
  5. Keep doing what you are doing, your writing is like real picture, you health is also important, just keep it up,and all the best, don't let anyone negative words affect you, even though they criticise you, as those people are not worth of your respect and response, keep smiling...

    ReplyDelete
  6. Don't bother about people's negativity. It is easy to comment or show fingers on others. We are with you

    ReplyDelete
  7. Madhu don't give importance to these negative people. Just ignore them. Please don't take these to your heart then you will be affected first mentally and then physically. Keep your mind happy that you are making many of your true fans like me happy. Even if you quit writing I'll always support you and you only. Cheer up. Long way to go. May God bless you with abundant happiness

  8. You don't have to give explanation of ur busy life. Every one here is mature enough to understand these things. If they are not able to understand egnore them.

  10. As a good writer lots of obstacles will be in ur path.you r so much strong than u think. Be addicted to ur passion. Not ur distraction

  11. Creativity is a gift and one should not look a gift horse in the mouth. And everyone is entitled to a life and for someone who balances all aspects I salute you. If there are no updates, there are so many of these gems just to the left that we can go back read and entertain ourselves with so I wouldn't worry about negativity and do what you enjoy. I believe you have more supporters and fans who absolutely love you than the naysayers and let it be. The critics are always going to be there some more empty than others. I would say ignore the empty heads and move on.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Completely agree 👍 don't let haters bother u. I know it's easy to say but u have true fans who love ur work and will always wait. Update whenever u feel like. We r here. Take care of yourself.

Hi, don't bother about such morons, what they know about writing, challange them for writing only 1 story, I can understand you feel upset when such harsh comments appears on your blog, but you please concentrate on your personal life, your professional life which gives you Money and then gives your attention here. Behave like 'Hathi chale bazar, kutte bhonke hazar'

  14. Madhu , can understand what you are going through. Please ignore those people writting negative about you. If they cannot wait for your updates let them stop reading.
Writting talent what you have is God's gift.

  15. Its ok to be late. Sometimes I got so busy that I got late to read. So you can be late. We all have a personal life. And its take hardly few minutes to read. But to write it needs more time & creative thinking. Who ever say negative just block them. You need stay away from that toxic people.

  16. Dear Madhu, i will just say ignore all those PPL who spread negativity, those who are Arshi fans and fans of your writing, they will come and read . Please don't take all this to your heart, there are so many people like me who will support you. Yes even myself get disappointed sometimes that there was no update but it's okay. You focus on your creativity.

  18. Madhu you are on this platform for so many years don't let these negativity affect you. I know sometimes it is not possible to ignore but just to let you know not everyone here who loves your work would hurt you.

About the negativity I guess it comes from people because of their curiosity and attachment they have with your stories. These negative comments are just an instant reaction that comes out as so hurtful for you but trust me many of your readers will agree that nobody wants to actually hurt you they just write it out of frustration and then they understand you too.

Though I can't say that for ALL the readers but then you must be knowing how there are both positive and negative people so let them be if they want they will read or else there are many other writers who post once in a year with prior notice they can go there.

We love you just take positive comments into consideration avoid reading the negative ones.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Don't bother about negative thoughts of some people. we will wait for you.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Be yourself, Madhu. Yes, I do miss your updates but that doesn’t mean you cannot take a break from it.

People, please try to understand… like you and me, Madhu also has several other commitments ie family, friends, work, writing etc. She too can get burn out from the tasks she has.

She is a gem. Even during pandemic, while we were taking a break, work from home etc, she stood beside us with her writings. She didn’t take a break.

On and off, it is good for her to take a break, go for a holiday and enjoy her time-off.

So Madhu, go for a Holiday. You also need a break, be refreshed and come back with a bang.

    Hugs to you dearie.

  21. That's because you are at fault as well. We agree you can not update on time. But you give us hope at 12 on Tuesday that you will update tomorrow on Wednesday and people wait an entire day for that and on Wednesday at 12:30 you say "Sorry guys, i was busy today. Will post tomorrow" and people wait again and you update a day later to that. Yes you have a life you can be busy. Agreed. But you can have the human decency to tell people at 6 that i will be busy today and won't be available to post tonight. But no you are mean either consciously or unconsciously and you drag it till 12 to say you cant update today after making people wait for an entire today. They react because the repetition of the same excercise everyday is humiliating for them. They have read you for years and you don't respect them enough to inform at 6 of your inability to update today.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. All they're saying is "Please inform us early. Don't make us wait all day to drop that you can't update today. Inform us EARLY". Just a little thing and you can't even understand that and you play around words to tell people that why it's difficult for you to inform early.

      Delete
    2. And its because of that readers of decade that you have grown into such a fine writer to now you are a publisher, you get to earn from it. Isn't, because of years of practicing and us reading, supporting and encouraging you have made you so good that you noe write novels and sells them. Now you have become professional. No one is asking you to write for us and update irrespective of you busy schedule or whether you have time or not. You can take your own time as much you want and write whenever you want, its okay. But just inform beforehand. Just that. Uncertainty can happen but not everytime. Same thing have been happening from a long time thats why a raise hand. If it was a 1 time thing, no one would have questioned you.

    3. Madhu I suggest, stop posting pre-caps or leaving notes.. then your "ardent" readers will not be disappointed..

Come on guys, get a life! It is rather pathetic if you wait the whole day for a fan fiction to be updated and then chastise the author for not updating notes to say how many hours she will update in? Christ! She clearly has a life outside of this blog. You think she has nothing else to do other than monitor what she posted, how many hours left, post a new note blah blah blah....

Seriously Madhu do yourself a favour and don't post re-caps or notes.. na rahega baans na bajegi bansuri! You have all my sympathies... it clearly does not pay to be considerate.

    4. Who are you reading this story for did anyone invite you i am really sorry for sounding rude but you all sound like you read for her you come read bcz you enjoy it so please just enjoy with how much you get dont demand more whats wrong if she says she will update but couldn't is at the end she does complete all her wonderful stories which we read and feel happy again sry for being rude but please stop atleast after someone is saying she feels sad hearing you all its not right she gives us happiness with her stories and we make her sad with our comments and we keep arguing even after the person said she is sad

  22. Sweetie we all know you can't leave this blog. The followers of this blog read your stories. Otherwise madhu? Who?

  23. Out of 100%... 98% people have always supports you and loved you to the fullest. Never demands but just keep encouraging you. Always welcome your "no update today" note with open arms and warmly.
Just mere 2%. Hardly 2% people have been trying to be a nuisance and you took them so seriously that you especially wrote such a big note, specifically for them!. Don't you think its unfair to the rest 98%? And even to you?
If there are good people than there would be bad too. If there are lovers than there will be haters too. If there is positivity than there would be negativity too. But the latter would always be less compared to the former and the same way it should be of less importance too. Life seems too irrational and fake when its just all goody goody.
And mind you, nuisance people come with such firm mentality that non of others words matters to them neither have an effect on them. They just like to give, not take. They just a one sided brain.
If out of 30 comments... 2, 3 or even 5 are negative and rest 25 are positive than whom should be pay attention and focused? Just think of that 5% as collateral damage or pass and parcel.
I know it must be hard for you to let it pass over as you are new to it but lets try! Okay!. Leta try to be ignorant and not being affected of such things.

  26. Relax plz. Anyways its all temporary as you have already decides that once the ongoing things end, you are gonna change your pattern and you will not be drafting-updating, drafting-updating, drafting-updating on regular basis. You have said, you are gonna first finish drafting the ffs than only start posting them. So why care now. Once you start this new approach everything is gonna be great and smooth again. So relax, chill and work and wait for the ongoings to end for the new phase to start.

  27. Madhu..just don't allow the negative factors to affect you. I very rarely comment on your updates but i am always here to support. You are taking great efforts to maintain this free blog and keeping Arshi alive even after a decade..Kuddos to you..keep going dear

    ReplyDelete
  28. Please don't bother about such negative comments. It's our luck that you are writing Arshi fictions still after long years of the show's end. Many of the writers stopped writing after I began reading Arshi stories. But you are still doing this favour on us because of our love for Arshi. Please don't mind the negative comments and just ignore them. Take your time and write here whenever or however you wish. Give importance to your priorities. We don't have any problem. It's our luck that you are giving us such lovely stories. It's not an issue. Will wait for the stories. Take your own time to write. I have only one request... Please don't stop writing here with these negative comments. By your stories, our Arshi is still alive in my heart. It's a request...... Love you dear...... Stay happy always 🙂🙂🙂🙂

  29. Madhu, I have been a reader since the time you started writing on India forum... AFAIK, you were the only writer in that forum who used to give us three updates a day and a precap regularly without fail. With time definitely priorities change and you are not obligated to give any justification or even a "no update" message on this blog, because it is your perogative to update a story whenever you can and no body has any right to demand it. If people love your work and they should be willing to wait for your updates.. you didn't tell readers to wait till 12 am and read the story.. Your story is always there and tney can read it next day as well, so it is not fair for writing shit about waiting etc.. I would suggest ignore those readers who talk bullshit , just do whatever you are doing and update whenever you can.. I am sure there will be only a few readers who are like that and if you ignore them as well you will go long way - Realitytruth.

  30. Hi Madhu,
I am with you and absolutely fine with your updating schedule and notes....
Please, you are too nice... also don't even bother about the people who doesn't have any decency at all... for years, you are writing good stories.. I follow you from india-forum days...
also you are not obligated to do anything!... still you are updating, creating new stories on arshi, updating those on regular basis and letting people read your work for free...like in a free blog, literally!...
I really pity those people who are throwing those negative comments.... seems like they probably don't have a life at all!

Please Madhu, don't get frustrated or upset... you have your gang of supporters and please kindly ignore those ungrateful people...

Please, focus on your life and health first, then if you can, only then you update... You have your loyal readers and they will always understand..
    Love you

  31. Madhu, you're doing a great job of trying to juggle real life and virtual life since almost a decade. I used to follow multiple writers since IF days and you're on the rare ones to maintain the level of consistency that you've. Please don't be bothered by insensitive comments of people who lack empathy. You do what you do best and for your happiness and passion.
I pity people who post comments lacking in empathy because turns out they possibly are either very immature or have no idea that life is beyond this blog! For your own mental peace, block out these noises.

Not a penny apart from that. I hope that answers your question dear.

  43. I am one reader, who has been following your stories from IndiaForums to Facebook to this Blog now. Have been reading them because of my love for Arshi and the different stories you put up and the way you present your stories. They are interesting, engaging and addictive. First and foremost, hats off to you for continuously writing and not giving up on Arshi stories and us readers. Especially when your stories are free of cost to one and all. Totally understand your predicament and what you are saying Madhu. Agree to it. At the same time, I also PARTLY understand the disappointment of some readers. Just so that everyone is happy, can I suggest something. Like maybe you announce bi-weekly or tri-weekly kind of posting days. It would be great for you to manage and there is clarity for the readers as well. And this is only and only your call. Do as you wish. Will support you!

  57. You are the writer, it's entirely your wish to decide when to update and when not. You have been writing stories on Arshi for over a decade and people are reading it for free, they need to appreciate that. Readers are important, but as a writer I'm telling you, you come first, your priorities come first and then comes the next things. Don't let others define your priorities coz not everyone thinks from the perspective of that person. Just a suggestion, it's upto you though - Do not let people know that there are no updates today or you will update it tomorrow or any other date, coz some people will not leave a chance to criticize you when you will not be able to meet it and they won't understand that there could be a reason that you couldn't update. Just give the updates whenever you wish to, and trust me people who love your work and who are your well wishers will definitely read it. Being a writer, I'm telling this -Writers are humans too and they don't spend their whole day just thinking about Arshi! They have their priorities too which demands more attention.

  58. Hi Madhu, I understand it's a frustrating situation where/when negativity and cruel comments were made on you, but it is best to just ignore those imbeciles who don't seem to understand that you have a personal life and commitments which are a priority to you to take care of first. Don't give attention to those nasty comments; I know it is easier said than done. But on a comforting note and be comforted that there are many other (loyal) readers who are following your pages here that these readers understand you and your dedication in updating your stories. You take care and do whatever is priority in your life and be assured that most of your readers are supporting you. So, pat yourself in the back for the awesome work you have done or are doing. Don't let negativity bring you down.

  60. As I'm working I know how hard to find time for yourself. We have to give our time for ourselves, our family and other work also. Writing fictions (especially Arshi ones) are a hobby and we can't force anyone to write and update regularly.
Ignoring the bashers is the best option but I understand that we can't do that always. So we are getting hurt and emotionally drained. I request all the people to not bash or request for an update. Have you been to Wattpad? There writers don't update regularly. They don't even leave a note. So why this ruckus? Reading is upto us. If you don't want to be here then kindly leave. So this will be a peaceful place for us to enjoy Arshi stories. Remember we aren't paying to read her Arshi stories. So please guys try to understand her and be flexible.

  67. OMG !!! Why do negativity people out there still wants to read Madhu’s story when you people got so much problems? When someone taking some time from their daily work and giving us their precious work do appreciate or just keep your damn words to yourself. Such a hypocrite humans. If there’s an update do read it. If there’s non wait for the writer to post it. Such a simple thing some hypocrites can’t follow it. Seriously grow up. Don’t behave childishly.

Madhu do take your time to post any of your stories. We sincere readers who following you from start of your stories will wait for it. 👏👏👏 We’re there for you always.😘
