Khushi’s ideas about the wedding surprises Subhadra Raizada.
“That’s exactly what Arnav would want. A small and intimate wedding” Daadi mentions with pride. “And simplicity is what he adores in you”
Intimate? The word itself gave her goosebumps again. It’s been frequenting these days. Arnav’s approach towards her have started becoming more intense and in a way, she has never felt anything like this before. She looks at herself in the mirror. Her reflection clearly indicating the changes in her appearance. She wasn’t just Khushi Gupta anymore. She was now Khushi Gupta Singh Raizada. The door opens and the man responsible for this change in her enters in. His expressions quite raw and greedy for her as their gaze meets. His presence reminds her that this is where he belonged. This was his room and now hers too.
“How did you manage to skip Dhruv’s radar and come here so soon?” Daadi questions at her grandson.
“I bribed him”
Anticipation shifts her focus as she recollects it was their first night tonight after their lawful wedding.
“But you both are not sleeping in the same room until the marriage happens ritually. It’s hardly a matter of 3 days, Chotte. I hope I am not asking much”
