I watch Aryan whose face is hard; body stiff and his gaze is searing me with a different heat. He takes a quick long stride and pins me to the Kitchen slab behind. Such intense moves from Aryan, cornering me, has always left me breathless.
“Celebrate as much as you want Miss Singh, in the end, you are going to miss me badly. I know” He whispers in my ears making my heart pound harder.

I am lying. I know it but I don’t admit it to him.
“You will miss me, Avni Singh” His finger suddenly strokes the pulsating vein on my neck. “This is my proof”
