Khushi’s POV
“I don’t want to talk to the man who shot my husband.” I snap turning around to leave but Shyam blocks my way.
“Your husband?” He mocks. “He is also the Devil King, hope you haven’t forgotten that? Or have you compromised with the situation?”
He stares at me from head and toe, nothing irritating in that look but I can sense he is assessing my posture, gestures and expressions like a Cop would.
“You are sleeping with him too, I think.”
That’s it. I raise my arm to slap his face but he catches hold of my wrist and pins me to the pillar behind.
“Truth is always bitter Khushi and I know sleeping with your husband is legal but not supporting him for all the havoc he is creating in innocent people’s lives. There are hundreds of girls who will be shipped abroad today and your husband is a part of this human trafficking. If you don’t believe me, go to the Casino of the drug lord Jaipal where the Devil King is invited today. They are discussing this consignment over a game there. You will see the truth by your own eyes.”
My voice chokes. Is that true?

ReplyDeleteI wonder how is Arnav not keeping an eye on Khushi after knowing that Shyam tried to meet her before.. I doubt Arnav could be human trafficking as he himself said he knows how to treat a woman and respect her. I'm sure he's saving the girls and not the other way round.. but he needs to open up to Khushi to avoid any misunderstandings.. if he wants Khushi by his side for lifetime it's high time he opens up to her about his work.. or else it would be hard for Khushi to take a side.

ReplyDeleteAnd thn arnav says he is there to protect khushi and always have eyes on her and she have to pass on his dead body to go beyond his reach, towards the freedom but until he is with her she is save ������ but it doesn't seems so!!! The way shayam can meet khushi even in such so called high security of khushi thn any harmer can too, anyone can easily harm her if "a cop" aka may be " a criminal" can manage to get to her everytime so easily ������....
ReplyDeleteAnd here, if khushi gets to witness what shayam pointed and if she believed him afterwards thn it wud not be wrong. Why will someone will not believe there on eyes and hears and that too after so much of brainwashing, hidden things, conflict scenarios, and complex emotions and forced commitments....
I hope this time arnav manages to know abt this meet and confront khushi CALMLY and khushi too, to believe him and both of them goes one step ahead of their relationship...
