Chapter 56B
Arnav’s POV
Two weeks later
Anjali Di is no more and this happened right a day after me and Khushi met her in the asylum. We were hardly coping up with this fact that we got another news today and it was even more scary. Mohan, Chandrika’s son and Anjali Di’s twin brother hanged himself in the jail. None of these two facts looked normal to me and definitely not when Khushi told me about her little conversation with Di in the hospital where the latter had told her that she didn’t cut her wrists, the curse made her do it. The power which Mohan probably had inside him too and so does Khushi which probably runs in their bloodline. I don’t know why but it scares me.
“Arnav,” Khushi steps inside our bedroom and sees me packing.
She looks a bit upset and startled. I know what she is thinking and why? Today after we discussed with the family about this power which Khushi has within her, they all wanted us to do only one thing and that was to leave India, to leave Sheesh Mahal where the incidents have happened and shift permanently to London. But Khushi was displeased with that idea though we haven’t got time to talk on it privately.

“So, you have decided already then?” she asks me, coming closer. “You want us to settle down permanently to London?”
I smile at her as she closes the gap between us and without a delay, I take her in my embrace.
“I’ll never make a decision like that without speaking to you.”
My reply brings her smile back.
“Then.. why are you packing?”
“Because we are going to London.”
She frowns again.
“I .. I don’t understand.”
“Khushi,” I peck her forehead before pulling her close to me. “I want you to see our London mansion too and besides, I have plans to take you further, maybe to Netherland or Greece.”
“Netherland or Greece?” She is even more confused. “You own a house even at these places?”
I laugh.
“No Khushi, I don’t. There we will go for our honeymoon. We never had one, don’t you think we deserve to be secluded from the family and every other thing bothering us, for a few days?”
Khushi grins.
“But … what will we do on our honeymoon? I mean, we have already..”
“Already?” I interrupt her to tease her a bit.
“You know..”
She wriggles to let her go from my arms but I grip her tight.
“I know what?”
She soon realizes until she completes that sentence I am not letting her go.
“We already have consummated our marriage here. Why spend so much money for visiting these countries for a honeymoon then?”
That’s her worry? I laugh again.
“I am serious, Arnav.”
“I don’t know why people think honeymoon is only about intimacy between a couple. It’s so much more, Khushi. A couple on a holiday like that, without having to think of anyone disturbing them, just spending ample of time with each other, making love, hanging around and exploring places, and most importantly, having open conversations on where they stand in each other’s life, and set goals for their future is what I call a real honeymoon. And we never got time for that, did we? It’s high time we explore some new places and…” I lean over her ears. .. “explore some sensitive zones of each other’s bodies as well.”
I bite her earlobe and Khushi immediately cuddles into me feeling extremely shy. We stay like that, hugging each other for some seconds until she speaks again.
“I don’t want to settle anywhere permanently apart from Sheesh Mahal, Arnav.”
Now I stiffen. Exhaling, I pull her away to meet her eyes.
“I know you have a business there in London and I’m okay to occasionally travel with you anywhere around the world but can we still make Sheesh Mahal as the base location?”
I have no answer to that.
“Why?” I shrug, trying to get her point.
“Because this is your family legacy and this is where I have my people too. Daadi too has memories of your Daadu attached to this place but after his death, because of Chandrika she had to move on to London with the family. Now that threat is gone. Chandrika, Mohan and… Anjali di are… dead..” she swallows realizing the mention of Di might be painful to me, which it is, but I ignore it at the moment. “But if you are not willing to take this chance then..”
“We will think on it..” I assure her. “But not now. This is the time to get away from here, spend some moments together and then I promise we will talk about it. Right now all I want is you and your safety Khushi.”
She smiles and cups my face.
“If you think that curse will overpower my mind and make me end my life just like Mohan and Anjali Di did, then you are absolutely wrong. Only Devi Maiyaa has the right to take my life, Arnav, only her. And I know she has blessed me a lifetime with you. We are going to be together for years, see our children growing and settle down.”
Yes!! This is the only thing that gives me hope. Khushi’s premonition of we being together.
“And you are right, for now, all we have to do is get out of Sheesh Mahal for some time where no one else intrudes our quality time.”
She gently pecks my lips. Now that’s what I like about her. Khushi’s slow openness to self-initiate the intimacy between us. I push the bags away to make some space for her and me on the bed. It’s always an overwhelming urge to kiss her and it never stops with only a kiss. Taking off her Kurta from her body and untying her salwar pant, I hover over her. Khushi licks my throat before looking at my face again. She stares at my face, her fingers tangled in my hair before she pulls me to kiss her again.
She has become a sensational kisser and I love that again about her. Gone is the shy Khushi who hardly let me touch her before. With my mouth nibbling every inch of her neck, moving lower to her perked up buds, Khushi submits herself completely to my ministrations. She whimpers arching up her body to my mouth and I ravish every inch of her from, moving further south. Devouring her soft flesh down there, I bury myself inside her, demonstrating that no matter what the situation is, we will fight all odds against us, as one.

Khushi’s POV
Few months later
It takes a strong heart and mind to accept a fact like this, that there’s a power inside me which can be used for good or bad of mankind. Yes, this strange power within me has intensified my premonitions, and I’ve recently realized I can hypnotize people, convince them to do things I want them to. Obviously, it scares me but Arnav has helped me take it in the positive light. Every few days I am learning a few more things what I can do with this power inside me. At times it consumes me with so many thoughts that I feel overburdened. Meditation has helped. I practice it daily without fail to keep my thought process calm and adapt to these little changes in my life. Babuji then told me how my mother dealt with it. She would write down her feelings in a journal, and Babuji found them for me in one of the old trunks which had all of Maa’s stuff. It would take me a few months to read them as they are many, but I can feel my thoughts inclining with hers. She was overwhelmed at first when she got to know about it, then she vowed to use it for the goodness of people. The journals have been another source of my strength to fight back the power inside me. I am surviving it and according to Arnav, I am doing so quite well. He has been my constant support throughout this phase of my life.
We had been to London for some time with the family and all the three bahu’s of the Raizada family, ie me, Payal and Sheetal were heavily pampered by everyone there. It was my first international visit and Arnav flaunted me to all of his friends. It was a strange feeling that everytime he introduced me to his friends and associates, I had this innate ability to sense if they really had good feelings for Arnav or were only pretending to have for their own benefit. I even told Arnav about it and he could relate stating that the people I didn’t get good vibes from, were not in his good list either.
Our two-week trip to Netherland for our honeymoon was the best period of my life. Arnav was right, honeymoon was so much more than just physical intimacy. We came closer to each other emotionally too, where I shared with him my fears openly than I could do when the family was around. My only worry was that our children might get these abilities too when they grow up if it’s in my bloodline and that really bothered me. But again, Arnav assured me that just like I channelized that energy towards good, our kids would do the same and that we will always be their guidance and preach them the right.
The best thing that happened apart from the honeymoon was Arnav’s agreement to my decision of wanting to stay permanently in India at Sheesh Mahal. Though Daadi, Manorama chachi and chacha were skeptical about it, Akash, NK, Payal and Sheetal were in our support. With Akash and NK ready to continue handling the London business, and Arnav taking over the Delhi one, and only flying to London whenever his presence was really needed, we could finally convince the elders too. Daadi decided to join us to Sheesh Mahal as she didn’t want me and Arnav to stay alone here plus she wanted to reminisce Daadu’s memories by sticking to this place during her old-age. We readily agreed.
Now I am back to assisting Babuji in handling the accounts of the Raizada trust and charity department, along with the temple related activities. Restoring people’s trust over Devi Maiyaa has always been an important agenda of my life.
“Khushi,” Daadi’s voice breaks my chain of thoughts. “The chai is good as always.”
I smile at her.
“Where are my other two grand daughter-in-laws?”
“Payal is assisting the staff for arranging the breakfast on the table and Sheetal is still practicing her Yoga. She woke up a bit late today.”
“Oh” she sips some more tea.
The entire family have come to Sheesh Mahal again and this time they are going to stay for long. I quickly speak some more to Daadi before heading to the basement of Sheesh Mahal which is where I usually find my husband working from home. He starts his day early and so do I.
I knock at the door and get inside as soon as I see him smiling at me, raising his eyes from the laptop screen.
“Breakfast is ready,” I try not to grin but how can I contain my happiness. He reads it on my face as I reach him.
The next moment I know, Arnav pulls me on his lap.
“Why is the Bride of Sheesh Mahal so happy this morning? As if she has won the whole universe for herself?” Arnav asks, nuzzling his nose into the crook of my neck.
I pull his head and give him a kiss first.
“I had a premonition this morning.. just before I woke up..”
His smile intensifies.
“Am I becoming a father soon?”
I pat his arm, frowning.
“You will eventually be a father soon but that was not the good news I want to give you today.”
“Then?”
“You know I always told you that I saw your future.. with your kids.. you growing old seeing them happy and settling down?”
He nods.
“Yeah. So?”
“So..” I snuggle closer, sliding my arms around his neck. “This time I saw myself with you.. we are together, Arnav.. growing old.. but our kids.. I didn’t see their faces but they are just what we want them to be. Strong, affectionate and most importantly, they have respect and love for us… for their siblings and for this family.”
Arnav’s joy is on his face. So far I never saw myself with Arnav in that premonition, today I did and it only means that no matter what, that power inside me, or the curse as some may call it, is not going to be a hinderance in our happily married life. I am with my husband, kids and this family throughout.
“I told you..” Arnav presses his nose to mine. “We are in this … together.. Nothing can draw us apart.. no curse.. no spell.. no black magic..”
I agree to him. Nothing can bring us down or hold us back from spreading love and a positive vibe around us. I snuggle to him, and Arnav hugs me tight. This is my world, my home. There was so much that this family had gone through which even involved me ending up sacrificing my life, which inturn unleashed these additional powers in me which I never knew existed inside me. Yes, initially it scared me but now I know it’s entirely up to me how to make use of it. For good or bad. The curse was never meant to break. Chandrika might have known it too. The curse could only be transferred from one person to another. And now that power resides in me. And now me, the bride of Sheesh Mahal being Devi Maiyaa’s devotee is going to be Arnav, his family’s shield, protecting them from every evil.
THE END.
Note: The FF has ended and I hope I have done enough justice to make it memorable for my readers. If not, I will do more better next time. Thank you for all your support and love that you have showered on my FFs and books. Means a lot to me friends.
Now, I am going to keep posting only “Rabba Ishq Naa Hove – Season 3” Until I end it too and begin with the FF I promised earlier “THE WAIT”

Arnav beautifully and romantically explained to Khushi who was shy but cute. Khushi is correct about staying in Sheesh Mahal. Khushi is right about the curse too as her Devi Maiyaa is with her. Loved Khushi's transformation too. She is now more romantic. Khushi can never hurt anyone with her power. Khushi's mom journal helped Khushi along with Arnav. Khushi used her power nicely. Arnav maturely handled Khushi. Finally whole family is residing in Sheesh Mahal. Khushi talks about her kids. Her Devi Maiyaa will definitely guide Khushi to or the family. ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite story. But I feel like there are some loose ends like the closed room. Now since it’s over it doesn’t matter. I hope you will do a better job next time. I know this happened because of your busy schedule. And you couldn’t concentrate on this more. But as always you have done a pretty good job as a writer but not the best ending for a really good story!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!

ReplyDeleteAlright.. Coming to the clock ticking part .. Yes.. I messed it up by forgetting to include closing this loop in the last part of the Story. My bad! I''ll ensure this never happens again in my future works. I am so sorry for this. I hope this makes you happy dear and please stop spamming the same comment again and again on every post I update here on this blog. Thank you.
DeleteMy objective is not to get ur sorry but the answer to the clock ticking part. I had to spam the comments for ur attention as the comment got deleted ( by whom is still a question)
DeleteGot it :) But I didn't delete any comment. To accept my fault is what I believe in and if someone has pointed my mistake in the plot or story, I will rather clarify it than deleting that comment. And coming to the clock ticking part, yes it really skipped my mind. If I ever give an epilogue to Bride of Sheesh Mahal Season 3, I will include that secret too.
DeleteAwesome you are amazing writer
