Chapter 40 B
“I have Raizada blood in me” he mumbles with tears crawling in the core of his eyes.
Khushi feels the heat which his eyes emanate. He is a Raizada blood? How?
“Can you imagine Ayush Singh Raizada had known this right from the time he first met me. And he never said anything. He hid the most important truth about my identity. How can he do that to me? I deserved to know who my parents were, he had seen that need in my eyes all these years and yet.. yet he chose to seal his lips?”
Khushi notices tears brimming in his eyes and before they could worsen his pain, she strides to him and hugs him tight. He is stern like a rock, having no idea what to do next? She cuddles further into him, rubbing his neck and brushing her fingers in his hair. It is that moment when he stops talking and hugs her back. Tears roll down his cheeks and wet her shoulders too, but she doesn’t care. They stay in that position for some more time until his breathing calms down to normal.
“He broke me Khushi.. He broke my heart, my respect for him.. I will never forgive him for this.. Never” he mumbles.
He is right. This sin is unforgivable. Any person could be hurt beyond repair and Arnav is right to feel so for his father. But does that mean Ayush Singh Raizada is Arnav’s real father? This isn’t clear yet and even though she wishes to know the full truth, forcing him to speak further on this topic is not going to be her choice. Not at this moment when he is already so weak. There is a buzz on the intercom which forces them to break their hug. Arnav swallows his pain and she notices the swift change in his form as he walks back to his desk and answers the call. His voice is still low, but he manages to speak powerfully, covering his emotions from the person speaking from the other end.
“Ask them to wait” he commands and drops the call. She wipes her own tears as he turns back to her. “Got some meetings lined up”
“Of course. I don’t want to intrude in your schedule”
He sighs reaching her and cups her jaw.
“Let’s have a long lunch break”
“Sounds good to me” she murmurs meeting his red eyes.
“I will send the driver to pick you up sharp at 1:00. We will be back by 03:00. Inform Katherine accordingly so that she doesn’t look for you”
Khushi nods.
“Your meeting is outside this office?” she asks curiously.
He didn’t expect her to catch that. Usually all the meetings are always conducted here in this building. Why would Arnav go out then? Is this really official or unofficial?
“I will see you at the restaurant” he pats her cheek lovingly and walks out of his own cabin, without answering her question, keeping the door of doubts in her mind wide open. What is he up to?

It’s hard to concentrate on work for Khushi when such a big secret is out to her today. Arnav is a Raizada Heir. Then why was he adopted? Why didn’t Ayush Singh Raizada tell him the truth? Does Revathi Raizada know it? Or was she also a part of this sin and both the husband-wife decided to keep the secret to themselves? How did this matter come out in the open then? How did Arnav got to know? If Ayush Singh Raizada is Arnav’s father, then who is Arnav’s mother? Where is she? Is she alive? Does Arnav know her whereabouts now if she is alive? She has so many questions in her mind and she is going crazy about it. Nothing is clear. Even after coming so close to the actual truth, she still feels being distant from it. She checks her watch. It’s sharp 01:00 and it’s time for lunch break. She picks her purse and leaves for the parking. She had informed Katherine already about this and luckily, she didn’t mind. It is rare that Khushi has made such requests unlike others who keep torturing their bosses for a long break or early leave from work.

Restaurant
“You are eating less” he mentions. The restaurant is very crowded at this peak hour, but he had managed to reserve a secluded table for them which is much aloof from the other noises. She ordered his favorite salad while chose a Pasta for herself which she couldn’t finish it yet.
“I have lost my appetite” she complains. He knows why. The revelation about the truth of his identity has shaken her. “I cannot even imagine what you must have gone through. Seriously”
She puts the fork away and faces him nervously. He looks equally disturbed as they are discussing this again. She grabs his hand over the table.
“You okay?” she asks. “I know this is a very wrong question to ask but I really want you to be okay. Come out of all this.”
“I am trying” he mentions weakly. “Trust me, ever since I have left that house, that people, I have felt better. I was choking in that house.”
Khushi gulps.
“I never looked back ever since he adopted me Khushi. He was my Godfather. I fulfilled every single wish he had from me. I never wished anyone else to be my parents that them. And what did I get in return? I was backstabbed. He knew all these years who I was to him and yet… yet he never told me.”
Khushi presses his hand.
“Is Ayush Singh Raizada your father?” it takes a lot of strength for her to ask this and him to answer with a gentle nod.
“No. He is not my father”
He shuts his eyes, trying to absorb the pain within. Every time he recalls this truth, his body burns in rage and immense grief for the only man whom he considered as his role model all these years. Khushi is now totally confused what to infer from this. He has Raizada Blood, but he is not Ayush’s son then whose?
The waiter is back to ask them if they want to order some desserts. Khushi politely denies and asks for the bill. Once he leaves, she concentrates back on Arnav. He looks broke again and she doesn’t want to break him more.
“You don’t look good like this.. Cheer up. Things will be fine. We will make them fine.. Together”
He rubs his palms over the face to let go the pain and nods in agreement.
“Did you like my gift?” she asks changing the subject.
“It fits me well” he answers.
“I knew it” she smiles.
Arnav gets a call again on his phone which he disconnects but types a message back to the caller. She can feel he is hiding something from her.
“Whose call?”
“Business” he shrugs.
“Looks like you have spread your new business quite everywhere”
Arnav recalls something. He dials a number and asks someone to come inside with the file. When he hangs up, she is still looking suspiciously at him.
“What’s going on?”
“You will know”
His driver comes inside and hands him a file and leaves out. Arnav stretches it out for Khushi to read. She opens the file and reads the contents of the documents inside. It’s all about AK Software tech. When she finds her name at the bottom right of the page for signatures, she is horrified. Arnav reads her face and decides to wipe off her confusion.
“You are the passive director of our Company.. AK Software Tech is not just mine, but yours too. I just need your signatures on these papers to drive the formalities ahead”
Khushi is unable to decide how to handle this matter.
“Arnav… its too much. You didn’t even ask me once before taking such a huge step?” she snaps.
“I am asking you now. Nothing is official yet. But it will be once you agree. I know you have your present job to look into and I wont meddle with it. But once your commitment with them is over, I want you to take over our new Venture. We will work together on this company. With your technical skills and me handling the management side, I am sure we can take it a long way”
“And what about AR?” Khushi argues.
Arnav gets speechless. Khushi keeps the file on the table. She tries to be calm in making him understand her point.
“I don’t have to tell you about AR Group’s crises. I am sure you know everything. Are you really going to leave it just like that?”
“I told you already, I don’t want anything related to them. That includes the company and my role in it too. And its final, Khushi. I am not changing my mind”
The waiter comes back with the bill which he promptly settles and gets up to leave.
“I will drop you back to work” he extends his hand for her to hold. She gets up without his support and walks out. He follows her. This is a very tricky situation for Khushi. But she promises to handle it well and join the bits and pieces of Arnav’s life to get it back in track.

If Arnav is not Ayush Raizadas Son, then is he his brother or sisters unwed child?.
Is Revati Raizada aware of it and had decided to keep mum abt it.
Still a long way to go even after Arnavs birth secret gets revealed out.
But simply this is getting dragged like Khushis famous Jalebi.
Madhu it's like a cliff hanger .. who is Arnav then ? May be Ayush brother son ? Madhu when u ll disclose the complete truth ? Please reply..

But u r the writer, u know it well when to open up the cat from the bag. Overall good , but was expecting the truth and full story.

ReplyDeleteAwesome Update. Again a new twist Arnav is not Ayush's son then may be Ayush's brother sister or cousin. Khushi lend her support for Arnav. But why Ayush Raizada hide this from Arnav.Its a very painful situation for Arnav. Arnav made Khushi passive director which is a good thing they need to spend more time together. And only Khushi can get Arnav's life back in track. I liked how Khushi understood Arnav's situation and didn't force him further. Arnav is maturely dealing with the situation but he is clearly hurt and today from Arnav's point of view it's very hard to accept that Ayush Raizada kept him in dark. I think there must be something which might have hurted Arnav and so Ayush Raizada kept it hidden . He always cared for Arnav . Hope in the next chapter the complete truth is out Arnav is carrying this pain since long.

ReplyDeleteWe still didn't get a proper arshi romance. And the romance won't start until this secret is out. So when can we expect that. In the middle of the story where khushi left to London story was rushed a bit. And it's dragged because arshi don't get a chance to talk. Arnav must be a child of ayushs sibling or cousin. That's why he has raizada blood. I can't guess why ayush hide that truth. Is it because ayush doesn't want to give the property for arnav? I never thought this romantic story will be turned into a complex family drama. Anyway khushi is still rigid somewhat. And arnav is still alone. Khushis momentary care isn't enough for arnav to heal. It's like a serial nowadays.

1.ARNAV - KHUSHIS BOND TO BE STRENGTHENED.
2.SHASHI GUPTA - ARNAV OSCILLATING EQUATION.
3.ANY POSSIBILITY OF THE RECONCILLATION WITH AYUSH N REVATHI BEFORE MARRIAGE.
HENCE THE DOUBT N CONFUSION FROM US SHIMMER.
Also the relationship betwwen A WRITER N READER IS MUTUAL.
Relationship between an artist and onlooker is never mutual. It is more of commensalism. While it takes us 10 minutes to read update and another 5 to type a comment, it takes much more than that for her to create a story. Ideas dont hang around her like PM 2.5!!

DeleteWe all have literally grown up reading her stories and she is the one of those very few people who have kept ipkknd alive for so long through their writing!
What we all said about her disliking this chapter and the way this story is progressing wasn't to bash Madhu! Nobody had that intention i can guarantee it! It was our love for her and her stories which gave us the freedom to express what we didn't like! For a writer praise and criticism are equally important. It's childish to expect people will always love and support you no matter what you write! Madhu is matured enough to understand that!
We all love Madhu and value her for spending time writing arshi stories. No one is taking her for granted! At I read most of the comments it were not directed towards her but the story and her writing! So no need to take anything personally!
And the most important thing what we all said about was genuine and it wasn't a cruel bashing of someone's hardwork!

ReplyDeleteI visited this blog after long time and just finished reading missed updates. One thing that I strongly felt about most of your current stories is you are dragging them a bit far when it's not necessary!
ReplyDeleteIt feels like watching typical Indian television soap where number of episodes matter not the quality. Just like they strech and drag their story you are doing it too! I really don't want to hurt you but i am reading your stories since last six years i cant help but speak my mind. I remember few years before you mentioned once in your Facebook post that none of your fictions will be long like 50 - 60 parts and henceforth you will only write short 20 -30 part stories. I had really liked your that decision but unfortunately it never materialized. I don't mind long stories but it shouldn't lose interest with each part and I know it's very tough job.
Trust me it's irritating when you read with excitement but realise it's getting dragged unnecessarily.

I think you should go through comments before telling me to chill. Comments here are calling her Ekta Kapoor, talking about quality of update and what not. There is hell lot difference in criticism and outright bashing.And believe me no one is novice to not understand the difference.

Questioning quality of content and if she is intentionally dragging it is disgusting! She is not in our service that we order her to prepare cake in certain way and then scold her coz it wasnt acc. to our expectations. I have no qualms in creating drama here when people have no shame in ordering her to proceed according to their whims and fancies. It is sad that you are associated with her from such a long time and now instructing her to write in a certain way!

No one is ordering Madhu how to write or write to please them! I too have read most comments and didn't feel it was directed towards the writer. It was all about the way she is writing nowadays especially this story!
DeleteIt's not about this one update. Nobody is kid here to went out their frustration for mere one update which they didn't like. Most of us are disappointed with the way this story is progressing since last few chapters. It was about that!
People are free to share their views and express their feelings! It's none of anybody's business to judge others for their sentiments or do moral policing when nobody has asked for it! We all love Madhu since long and feel free to share what we didn't like openely wit her because we trust her that she will understand it. I don't think anybody has bashed her here. It's your view maybe!
Many here hav already said n thats wht exctly i felt while reading the update..its not secret anymore its just getting too complicated to wait patiently as its been very long that arnav left his parents n came to khushi
