AR Office
After warning the Gupta couple when Arnav returned to the conference room, he saw Khushi speaking over the call. She was clearly agitated.
“Mr. Shetty, I relied on you to inform me about their whereabouts and today they just stand before me, without any warning?” she growled. “I don’t think your agency deserves clients like me. I am withdrawing our contract and be thankful I am not suing you for your sloppiness”
Arnav could join the dots. She had probably hired some agency to keep an eye on her parents and detail her about their location though he didn’t realize why would she do that? What harm can her parents impose on them? What was her past? She hung up finishing the call and met his gaze.
“Tell me they are gone” she snapped.
“For now, yes”
Khushi heaved a sigh of relief.
“They wanted attend the wedding”
“Heck No” she snapped. “I wont let them be in this city that day, forget attending the wedding”
On the outside he saw her nothing more than an aggravated woman who for some unknown reasons didn’t like her parents to be a part of their happiness but he could read what was going in the back of her mind. She was scared to face them.. to let them near her.. to hurt her..
“I am talking to you” she growled coming closer.
Arnav was so lost in analyzing her turmoil that he didn’t pay heed to her words. She probably just commanded something.
“You should calm down. Let me handle this”
Khushi frowned.
“Only because I let you handle them here, doesn’t mean I need your help Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada. I know how to take care of my problems and I don’t like anyone’s intrusion”
Any other times Arnav would have been offended but he knew she didn’t mean what she just said. She needed his help, she just wouldn’t ask. This woman was hell adamant!!
“Naniji told me you will be coming to collect the Haldi from us in Gupta Villa. Be there sharp at 06:00” she informed and walked out.
Arnav sighed seeing her leave. How easily she masked her fear by her stubborn behavior.

Shantivan – After Haldi
“Bachelor party?” Lavanya fumed at her brother who was fully set to leave. His casual attire would make any women shudder for his touch. She always wondered why he couldn’t find a woman by himself and settle down instead of asking his Nani to choose one for him. “ASR, why am I not allowed?”
Arnav brushed his hair looking in the mirror and smirked. They didn’t have a separate day for doing this party so NK clubbed it on the same night after the Haldi ceremony.
“Sis.. you and NK are not supposed to see each other after the Haldi. That’s why you are not allowed. And all your close friends are coming in an hour here to give you company. Nani told me they would be staying tonight at our home. It’s not going to be less than any Spinster party for you”
Lavanya frowned.
“I know.. I so wish I could be with NK in this party. I would keep an eye on him”
“That’s why I am going there. To keep an eye on him and make sure no other girl lure my sister’s man” he snuggled her closer.
She laughed.
“I trust him. He is so much into me that he can never think of any other girl. But please make sure he doesn’t overdrink. That’s something he needs to control. I don’t want him to have a bad hangover as tomorrow is our wedding”
Arnav nodded.
“Point noted. It’s not that I was very interested in going to this party but NK wants me to come. I just couldn’t deny him”
“You don’t have to give excuses ASR. Its been long since you enjoyed a party like this. I want you to go and find a sexy girl tonight who can screw your head by her charm. By your look, I can say all girls are going to be… fanning their faces”
Arnav took it as a compliment and kissed her forehead.
“Call me if you need anything. And don’t let your spinster party disturb Nani. I want her to get good sleep. Tomorrow is a big day”
“Yup. Bye, ASR. Have fun”
Arnav slipped out of his room. Lavanya was happy for her brother. He really deserved a fresh start. After she marries and leaves this house, he will be left alone because Nani was going to stay with her in Gupta Villa until her delivery. She really wanted ASR to find the right woman for him soon who can take care of him just like he deserved.

The party was organized at the best pub of the city which was entirely booked for the Guptas and their friends.
“This is beyond my imagination” NK hugged his sister Khushi who had hosted this Bachelor party for him tonight. “The Drinks.. girls.. everything is just perfect. You are the best Khush”
Khushi was pleased he loved the arrangements. She would do anything for her little brother.
“And I must say you look double hot in this black dress” he added eying her from top to bottom.
Khushi rolled her eyes. The shiny Black dress fitted her curves and ended inches above her knees. It was NK’s choice and she couldn’t deny wearing it to bring a smile on his face. Otherwise such clothes had never made her comfortable. She could flaunt her body and curves in formal attires, not such skinny outfits which revealed everything she never wanted a man to eye upon..
“My friends are still dying to flirt with you” he muttered. “But I told them you are off limits. And the girls.. God” he laughed. “I guided them to ASR. He really needs to hang out more with them, now that he doesn’t have to worry about Lavanya’s problems. Its my lookout now” he promised like a matured man.
Khushi’s body clenched as she saw one of NK’s friend flirting with Arnav Singh Raizada at the other corner.
“That’s Tara” NK said looking in her direction. “She is a big fan of ASR and has been stalking him ever since she got to know I am getting married to his sister”
Khushi’s fingers fisted unknowingly.
“NK”
Two of NK’s friends intruded.
“You don’t have a drink yet?” one of them asked.
“I will have in a moment. Let me fix my sister with someone in the party first”
“Don’t bother” Khushi’s eyes were dark with jealousy. “I will find my own way”
“Sure?”
“Yes Kishu. Now go enjoy with your friends”
She pushed him with the gang and then made her way to the Bar where Arnav and Tara were talking. Arnav Singh Raizada looked hotter than any other man here, in his blue denim and black Shirt. And he had a smile which women can die for.
“Vodka” she said to the bartender, taking a seat exactly beside Tara.
Arnav tilted his head to see her as Tara was in between him and Khushi Gupta. When she didn’t pay heed to his stare, he focused on Tara again.
“One more” Khushi demanded a second shot and consumed it in one go.
“Excuse me” Tara said checking her phone. “It’s my friend’s call. Got to take it”
“Sure” Arnav smiled.
“One more” Khushi demanded a third shot and now Arnav was seriously worried. Yet, he kept his advises to himself. He didn’t want to offend the women and make her hate him more, unnecessarily.
“She is not your type” Khushi muttered without looking at him. “She is a Party animal and not a marriage material for sure” she added.
Arnav shrugged.
“Who told you I am looking for a match here?”
She met his gaze.
“You don’t look that type of a man to me who would spend a night and never really regret”
“And do you know how you look right now?” he asked with a similar tinge of annoyance in his voice. “A newly released glossy fashion magazine”
Khushi held her smirk. He was talking about her dress. It was really very shinny.
“If you made a pass on any man in this outfit, he wouldn’t take you serious for commitment” he added.
Khushi rolled her eyes.
“Who wants to commit so soon?”
Arnav sighed in disbelief.
“Kishu too wouldn’t have if … Lavanya wasn’t … preggy. We Guptas love our independence. Each one of us.. we are born like that”
Her phone dropped from her lap, straight on the floor but Khushi hesitated to bent down.
“Damn” she cursed the length of her dress which didn’t allow her to even bend. Before she could think of alternative options, Arnav leaned and picked the phone for her.
“I am back..” Tara yelled merrily as she reached Arnav Singh Raizada. Khushi snatched her phone from him and turned again to the bar. “Lets dance?”
“Sure” Arnav led the woman on the dance floor. Khushi grabbed the glass of vodka again as she watched the girl clearly flaunting her flirty grooves and touching the man after ever few seconds. Heck!! Khushi’s body burned seeing Arnav Singh Raizada dancing like business as usual with that woman.
“I am here…” Ruby Khanna shouted reaching Khushi. “You look… wow” she praised seeing her in that dress.
Khushi didn’t take her eyes off the sight of Arnav on the dance floor. Ruby noticed it and realized what set her mood off.
“This can end” Ruby murmured. “All you got to do is.. ask him for a dance”
“Are you kidding me?” Khushi snapped. “I am off limits for men like him”
“Who are you fooling Khushi? You clearly want him to keep his hands off every damn girl on this planet except you”
Khushi’s stare on Ruby intensified. What the hell was she talking?
“Don’t give me those heated glares” Ruby snapped. “I know you since our childhood. And by the look in your eyes from couple of days, I can tell you want to rip off his clothes and have your way with him”
“Enough” Khushi snarled. “I have no time for your rubbish”
“Fine” Ruby shrugged casually. “Don’t tell me later if Tara and Arnav click together for more than this night..”
As Ruby left, Khushi turned back to Arnav and Tara again. They seemed to be talking something sweetly now. It definitely hurt!!

The party was almost over but Khushi decided to head back home before she collapses in the pub, losing her consciousness. 5 shots of Vodka and she couldn’t even stand properly. She never wanted to cross the lines but somehow things went out of control seeing Arnav Singh Raizada flirting with Tara and god knows she wanted to stab the two if she had knives. Since NK’s friends were still partying inside, Khushi decided not to drag her brother home yet. He could surely enjoy the last night of freedom with his friends. Tomorrow his life was going to change forever. So, she herself decided to leave for home but could she drive? She wasn’t even able to hold the keys in her fingers without shaking.
“You should call a cab” she heard a familiar voice as she reached out.
Khushi paused to take a turn and check upon the man who was the reason for her present shaky state.
“You can’t drive in this state” Arnav added coming closer.
Khushi then saw Tara hurrying towards them from the Pub door and she exactly knew how to handle the situation from here on.
“Then be my driver.. Drop me home” she commanded.
“Me?” he wasn’t prepared for that.
“Yes, you Mr. Raizada. Don’t forget, I still have a hold on you for the next 6 months”
“5 months 27 days” he corrected.
Khushi’s mouth twitched to form a smile.
“I didn’t know you were counting”
She handed him her car keys.
“Arnav, sorry the girls held me up. Come, lets go” Tara said reaching the two.
Arnav stared at Khushi and then gave a displeased look to Tara.
“I have to drop Khushi Gupta home”
“Oh” she cursed inwardly.
“My driver will drop you to your residence, Tara. See you at the wedding tomorrow” he gave her a reassuring hug and Khushi tried not to stare at them.
“Okay” Tara replied shyly and made her way to the other side. Arnav opened the passenger seat door for Khushi to get inside her car.
“Were you two going to spend the night together?”
Arnav almost freaked out at that question but tried not to let her enjoy his state.
“Shouldn’t concern you Miss Gupta. Get in the car, let me drop you home”
Khushi gritted her teeth and got in. What was he doing? Tomorrow was his sister’s wedding and he would spend night with a woman he had just met? Arnav accelerated the car towards Gupta Villa, unknown to the fact that he wouldn’t be returning back to Shantivan anytime soon tonight.

Khushi is definitely getting attracted towards Arnav but it seems physical attraction more for now & the last lines of the update indicate that may b she might use the advice her friend Ruby gave & get somewhat physical with Arnav in her drunken state... But knowing Arnav, he won't let it go beyond limits...

DeleteKhushi needs to share her past with Arnav. Why Khushi hate her parents so much. Khushi is really vulnerable but and is hiding her griefs and has trust issues too. Arnav is trying to understand her. Arnav needs to know more about Khushi . I am liking Lavanya's character more and her concern for Arnav . Arnav agreed for the bachelorette party for Lavanya. Nani is going to stay with Lavanya is good after marriage she can give some love to Khushi in this way. Khushi has totally spoiled NK by giving him everything . Her blind love for her brother is too much. Khushi is unknowingly getting jealous and possessive for Arnav and finds Arnav hot and also admired him . Khushi is warning Arnav as well as protecting him too. Arshi's communication was good. Khushi is commitment phobic and has trust issues. Arnav is a great gentleman. Ruby almost caught Khushi's jealousy. Why is Arnav so sweet towards Khushi even after getting humiliated by her. Khushi is really bitter and in her jealousy unnecessarily harrassing Arnav. Now when will Arshi marriage happen . Will Khushi blackmail Arnav now that he is going to stay with her. And Khushi behaviour as if her brother is a saint really upset me as if the entire fault is of Lavanya. Don't know what is stored for ASR. Lovely Update 😍💗

Why do I feel Arnav-Khushi are going to get married alongwith NK and La? I have a feeling NK ll see them and misunderstand.
ReplyDeleteThe way NK says - drinks...GIRLS was really cringeworthy.It just made me hate him some more. Why do these men get a chance to even get on the bed let alone make someone pregnant maybe due to 'clueless in love kind' like La.
I am trying to like Gupta siblings but they aren't making it easy. Though I ll confess Khushi doesn't seem that bad as she was in the beginning. Dont even know why!

Why is Arnav leading Tara on when he has no intentions of marrying her? She will get hurt. Good Khushi spoilt it in the end.Typical men! They like flirting with girls. But then he also seems to like Tara even though she is not his types. Right now this ff is at the most interesting stage out of the three.

Fyi, most of the interactions of Arnav and Tara were seen from Khushi's point of view.. from the kind of arrogance and jealousy that she is showing right now, it is obvious that she would see it as flirting only even though Arnav might just have been friendly.. we can't call it as leading on just becuz of that..
DeleteRemember in ipk, Khushi was very friendly with nk, then we were very happy with Arnav's jealousy and never once said Khushi was flirting and leading on Nk.
There we had a basic assumption of khushi that she cannot even think like that.. in the same manner, if we read objectively, we can see that Arnav did no wrong here..
Also I'm a girl.. but being judgemental about men and grouping all men as opportunistic flirts is not right..
